Excellent win at Leicester, clean sheet and good team performance

Lucky. if the money is right , it will be Barca but I doubt it will be a EPL team as well.The Spanish/Portugal’Italy leagues would be good for him for at least two years I would have though. He would still have a chance to play in CL. Althoughthere is a current media clamour for City to sign a striker like Haarland, we have done OK without one, we have nobody in the top end of striker totals so far but as a team we have more players scoring from different positions. I think Pep will sign somebody but may surprise who that will be. I think it is also a little too early for young Delap who could be the answer further down the line but needs to go out on loan to toughen up and gain sharpness for the EPL Foden was an exception in his transformation but was carefully managed by Pep.

Ed. it is less about affordability and more about value…that is what pep is referring to. Also good management. We may or may not sign players in the higher bracket but Pep knows who he wants and we will all have to wait and see who that is. I think you have misread pep though

The problem is ED…you are not useing your car enough and filling up everyday with…petrol/diesel!!!!!!! How can we afford it?????
We are managed just like any other business and that means you do not make losses for longer than necessary. The plan was put down for 10yrs it was financed, but we are now in the next decade, the next chapter if you like It will not be financed as previous unless other investments in the Group are found.

Wel Stevo..you are right it would be a Risk+ but then again you have paid a lot for two young strikers who have not performed for you. I still think he will at Barca but if he does come to you and stays reasonably fit, he will score goals , for anybody.

If I was any club manager in charger of transfers I would not deal with Raiola . Are there any straight forward transfers with him? Are there any players who actually settle with him at one club before he wants to move them on?

Nine…if you believe in this morning media Chelsea will go after Augerro. Which also means if, as you say Messi will stay at Barca, I would have thought that would have been his likely destination and he will cost consideably less than Harland, Mpaabe and Neymor and still score goals

I think money is tight for all clubs with loss of revenues this season, that will take some clawing back
In Haarlands case it is just a matter of who will pay for him not who he wants to play for. Deaspite what I have said I think he will finish at Barcelona

Well, the rumours have started…who replaces Augerro. My thoughts are
1. I am not sure about Haarland,if he would fit City style or if Pep would change something to accommodate him…whatever,,could be an expensive risk and I do not see P
ep doing that. for one player
2. Grealish, I understand but then there is a battle between him and Foden. Maybe they are thinking with KDB and Gundogan both in there 30’s at the start of the season and Fernandino likely to go or used as and when. He would fit in though3. Mpabbe. Lukaka I do not see in City Blue at all
4. Martinez , maybe
I am also hoping Jesus blossoms next season, he has worked very hard but need to find the goal on a weekly basis
It will be interesting to see what really happens

It was always going to happen, sad, I loved watching him over the years, some magical moments from him. Whoever we get as a replacement will have to be good to get anywhere near his longevity and performance over the last decade. Good luck Sergio …but before you go a couple of hat tricks please!!!!

Big game for us on Saturday I hope all the players on International duties are fit and ready for it. Leicester going well and I believe it will be a good game for the neutral. Rodgers doing a good job. I hope Pep works his tactics out well for this because I think it will be a very open game of football for 90 minutes
