City were careless and wasteful. I understand Pep wanted to rest players but why so many? Leeds were brave and took the few chances they had, we did not create enough or take the chances we had. Bounce back time, game over, just annoying we threw away the points

Well done Leeds, they had a plan, we were careless and wasteful. Our back up team not good enough with so many changes, no doubt we will refocus for next week but we cannot have many more poor performances like this, somebody has to start shooting at goal other than defenders.

Nine…I think that just about sums it up. Nil’s word. ONLY” as applied to Liverpool in his original comment was overstated. I can understand how he feels but the problem does is deeper. Like any problem solutions can be found or not Time will tell. Liverpools future, just like any other club is in there own hands and history is for the books not the next match

Mikus….a good way of looking at it although in my mind they are entirely different type of players, world class I agree. I actually think Gundogan is the nearest to Silva we have, hallways keeps the ball moving and mostly forward

Really happy KDB has signed a new contract, he is well settled in Manchester with his family and sees no reason to move anywhere else.
Moos, as for Sterling, as good as he is on his day he is loosing consistency, so pep will not give him automatic choice. I think we could do better, Sane was a better player but again lacked consistency.
The young lad in the academy is the one to watch for Palmer, I think that his name.

Nine…it is often cited that City did not replace Kompany and that was there only downfall last season. I never agreed with that, however, I thought Liverpool would have learned from that but I also think they started to loose focus when the league was won towards the end of the season, this carried over and replacements not found when VD and Gomez went down the situation became much worse. Liverpool are a strong club and I am sure they will come through this spell but maybe not with the same players. Just another fans view

Sloppy performance to night but got there in the end. Plenty of mistakes all through the team but we just held together. We missed Augerro up front, missed too many chances to have been more comfortable but the sloppiness almost costs us.

I suppose it could be said that “anything is possible”. In my view, it will not happen this season or maybe in future seasons for any team. The whole structure of fixtures, domestic and International are too demanding for players, some will cling on to they want a CL medal, others there domestic titles or Cups but realistically to get them all in one season would be some feat for whatever team. City have a good team, strong squad and playing well but still a big ask and I think they will fall just short, however, we have won nothing yet and I respect the teams we have to play because they want to win it as well. For me, I would be more than happy with EPL and FA Cup. Jose can have Caraboo Cup but I think Pep would tell me off for saying that!!!!

GI Blue…Fernandinho has been a favourite of mine since day 1. he does read the game brilliantly, however, against leicester although his overall game was good he was caught in possesion a few times and that is a demanding role he is playing. i would give him another year because I still think he can contribute but Rodri is ready to take over that role now for the team, Another great servant for City and I am sure pep has a plan to replace the older players.

We lost 2-5 to leicester at home, beginning of the season, have done OK since so as Sean says Freak result. We had 11 on the pitch but gave them 3 penalties!!!! That was worse than a man off!!!!

Lucky….I do not think Augerro is that type of person, he has never made an issue on anything in his 10 yrs at City, however, it is sensible that, with a free transfer he can afford not to go cheap either.City knew they could get another year out of him but I think they have squad plans for next season in place, it is not that he is not good enough for City….he is….but in a limited role which he probably did not want

Lucky…I think it is more a case of Pep looking at his squad for next season and the style and method he wants to play. Right/wrong he may feel Augerro is not up to it and he would rather have mobility, hard on Augerro of course if that was the case but there is no sentiment in football when you have to keep evolving as a team. I feel somewhat devasted he is going just wishing for another season but that is my heart speaking. Reality is different. To be honest I think Pep would rather have another KDB/Gungdogan than a striker. It is possible to guess what Pep will do but the likelihood of getting it right would be a guess too many
