Pagan. the Quad has never been done by any team, anywhere so it is not that much a disappoint for me. The performance to day was and they need to put that right for Wednesday, the next match

Mikus, you may well be right, however, as a manager, once you have worked out your game plan…it is up to the players to follow it, in our case, to day we were inept, against Leeds we were Naive. Despite the outlay in Full backs we are weak in this area, Ake excluded because we have not seen enough of him and I think he is a better player than Mendy or Cancello. This being the case our CBs have to work twice as hard and it affects there game just to cover them. I believe ther will be a clear out at the end of the season and fresh faces brought in. We do need another Augerro though but I do not want Kane, Haarland or Mpaabe they would fit most teams well but not City, great players though just think we will go for somebody else, attacking midfielders more in peps style, he would rather have 3 midfielder who can score 60 goals between them I think. Time will tell, I will get over the dissapointment of this performance as soon as i have had my dinner!!!!

Lucky….a correction…we did not play well, in fact I thought we were pathetic but Chelsea had a better game and plan and well deserved the win
One thing he will have noticed Chilwell is an attacking left back. Mendy is focussed on back passing only, even from the oponents half, in effect, we are down to 10 men, Put Sterling, Torres and Jesus , as our so called attack, that never troubled the keeper all the game…hey ho we are down to seven.. I suggest Pep gets Chloe Kelly from the Ladies team…she scored a hat trick to day. or young Palmer from the EDS. Please Pep..do not do this again, Pick your best team and attack from the start_____________________________

First of all…Chelsea, well done, deserved win. I can understand a few changes but not this many and those that played did not perform. I know Pep wants to give everybody a game but why so many everytime, it just disrupts the flow. As to individuals…Mendy…what can I say…he is the only player I know that plays backwards for 95% of his touches…compare that with Chilwell to day…always going forward. Jesus, Sterling and Torres just not up to standard, How the game changed when Foden and Gungdogan appeared but without forwards who can actually score we expect our defenders to do it for them as well. The slow start suited Chelsea and they grew more and more into the game. We hardly troubled the keeper throughout the game. Not a game to remember for a City fan. Pep lost this one to Tuchell

This season is far from over so I think it is premature to talk about next season, however, I am sure all teams have already started to plan ahead, who stays and who goes from there teams. The Pandemic hopefully will have brought some sanity to football. i would still like to see people back at work , safely, before holidays and sport….if it can be proven safe…ok…go for it. but my guess is the people wanting more now will be the first to blame anyone they can for letting them go to early. Such is life now. Me first society

Mikus…a better idea…you have Haarland and we already have Foden!!!!!!!
We will find a striker at half the price and running cost_____________________________

If Haarland is worth 150 million. how much is Foden worth? Still no striker on the pitch but I stil think we will go for one

Pleased with that performance, KDB, Foden and Dias outstanding but must admit, when Mahrez was to take the penalty I was full of gloom…he scored..he still does not give me confidence though. PSG next…after Chelsea aston villa and Tottenham !!!! Sterling missed his usual sitter at the end!!!

Well, my last word on this is it may well drive people to lower league football or even ladies game, which may not be a bad thing, unless they sort it out so everybody understands what they are watching. As a fan, paying ever increases in tickets and merchandise and watching Prima dona’s it will make them wonder if it is worth it. I hope not but the games controlling bodies are only in it for the cash now not the game itself

Right or wrong…I think most fans have had enough, it really is spoiling the game and I cannot see any viable change to make it better. I hate it when every goal is referred to VAR. even penalties….just lets us have a game of football for 90 minutes

Simplyfying the rules is a good idea, my concern then would be how do you simply humans who make up the rules, plus, most with an interest to do so i suspect

Lucky…what I was trying to say, he has to work with what he has got and if the squad is poor ten the manager has to find ways to improve them. Some investment is required but that can be said pre Jose. I am not defending Jose so much and he is not a favourite of mine but I just do not like the thought of players managing a manager and club There are clubs with less than Spurs have but doing a better job with there resources. In reality, there is know solution to this other than a change of manager which is always the case on the Merry-go-round

Lucky..you are right , the more it is discussed and hyped about, the Agents will love it. If I was a Manager though and the club I worked for had that money I would prefer 3/4 class players to one that cost a lot and could easily be injured in first game. Risk is very high even if you wanted to go that route. I would be a little dissapointed if City paid that amount of money and hope they keep there good business sense. I also think the supporters would feel uncomfortable with the numbers. However, as always somebody will do it, just hope it is not City

I will sadly miss going to a big store, well , as it was years ago. The wheel will eventually circle and I believe there will be another time for them. The current margin shops could easily been Woolworths of old. I think the problem with big shops is they catered for the wrong markets putting there eggs in one basket, so to speak and catering for fashion labels and high prices. I can never understand why Jeans are such a high price, put a label on they go higher….must admit though, never worn a pair in my life. M+S lost a lot of customers like me catering for the young but now rely on food more than clothes i suspect

Sean..re your earlier post..clots….I think you are probably more likely to get clots cramped up in a budget seated plane seat and filled with booze, in some cases, than from a jab. Mostly political judgements made not common sense and some “expert” playing the numbers game. Too many negatives and not enough positives from people who should know better. There is no 100% cure now, to morrow or next year but let us be grateful we can save tens of thousands of lives in the meantime. Hopefully our brilliant scientist in the Pharma companies will improve the statistic some more

It could be said that Jose inherited a poor squad but you have to work with what you have and I would have thought a good manager could handle that. However, once players do not respond to the manager , problems will always arise but I never like to see players dominating a Manager/Club. They get paid enough to play football not political football. Jose will be well paid when he leaves and the final with City in a few weeks should tell us something….or maybe not!!

Nil.. I do nothing Rodgers would benifit going to Spurs, heis OK wherehe is for at least another season then may look at the possibilities but Leicester are better than Spurs at the moment apart from end of season wobble, he needs to sort that out. Good manager

The players drafted in for the Leeds game need to learn something from the game, if not, they are no use to City. However, part of the situation was that there were too many changes to start with. I can accept changes but if the idea was to give maximum rest to as many as possible then it just did not work. Better to have made3/4 changes then used subs after 45 mins but at least have a midfield that can control the game, as in previous games. Game over, we move on and hopefully have learned something, Leeds certainly did and good luck to them. I think though that Pep will now have completed his list of leavers at the end of the season
