Mancunian Mike…agree. think he will rest at least half the team but not more I do expect Augerro Ake. Garcia Torres, Fernandiho, maybe Steffen,Mendy to start. Subs to include Doyle, Delap and I forget the name of youngster doing well in defensive midfield. I would also like to see Palmer given some minutes

Thatere is another side to the problem Nine…if UEFA do not get this right and continue with fixture congestion owners will look at alternatives, although I hate the thought of breaking the EPL up, do not care about the La liras etc etc, fixture congestion and players overplayed will be the problem. At the moment City go into there 6th away fixture on the bounce, now, this could happen to other teams as well. Teams are having to play in extra competitions, internationals, friendlies and cope with a challenging League programme. maybe there is a plan to wear British teams out!!!!!!
It will be interesting to see what UEFA does next but I still consider Round 1 has just finished and Round 2 will be on somebody’s agenda…it is a crack that could get wider.As fans we all have a tendency to think our existing structure will go on forever, I would like it to, but it will not happen, Major change will come at some point, sad to say

Pagan….I have long held the believe that it will be a global league eventually. The Euro leagues are tired old horses, the EPL runs better because of commercial interest, which are better here than in Europe in all probability The game will die by managerial incompetence in Europe.
I hate the thought of a global league but I believe that is the bigger picture which will come with funding that neither Fifa,Uefa can compete with and that will be there own fault. The growth of football is not in Europe, the halcyon days are numbered. Just my long held view

Ed…mendy is useless and we purchased badly. Cancello is not a LB, original a right winger, tried at RB. but not consistent. Walker is a RB..full stop. Yes we paid a lot of money for them but in every facet of life…you win some and loose some
Since you are a Utd fan Ed. I can cheerfully say….what is better, to spend what you have on a player or feed the Shareholder more Dividends…the choice is yours!!!!!! Just watch Utd will come up with yet another major major spend and City have a way to catch up on your big stars costs!!!!!! They will just borrow some more money

Tuchel….the reality is, it will take him more than a season to get the squad and players he wants, I do not believe his mandate is to get in top4 this season, I believe they can do it but nothing is certain at the moment
Judgement cannot be made on a few hames and the games I have seen Chelsea have improved. He, or any manager is not going to get results every game at the start, it will take time. Fans can be the most impatient people, support the guy, if he has a poor season next year then voice concern, I believe Tuchel will be a good manager and have yet to see many ex players being good at top level management with their original club. The old saying applies….never go back, the expectancy will be twice as high and failure twice that again

City will have to go through changes because we are likely to have to replace Fernandinho, find a left back. replace Augerro. Gungdogan will need back up. Walker will need replacing…all age related. Kdb will also have to be managed so we are not so reliant on him, so I see 4/5 players that have to be settled in to Peps system. We may bring some of our talented youngster in as we did with Foden, there are more but the big spend will be on a mobile striker,At the moment i do not see any of the media suggested contenders being brought in

Some good collective team work got us through and we did not not fall apart in the first half. Credit the team, they got there act together and should give them huge confidence for the return but Neymar and Mpaabe (?) still a big threat but we can certainly frighten there defence as well I wonder what the team will be for Crystal Palace….I think Augerro will play in that, plus Ake plus a youngster. Laporte will partner Ake i think and mendy at LB. Just guessing what Pep will do. Mahrez says he likes playing three games a week, the form he is in I do not mind and I have forgiven him now for missing that penalty at Anfield…..wait a minute….no I have not!!!!

Well the first half did not help my Blood pressure, did not think we played bad but PSG were so much better. Complete turn round in the second and we deserved the win. PSG are still a serious threat so hope Pep gets it right for the return game, I would bring Ake in for LB, but I guess he has not had games since his injury pep will use Zinchenko…please not Mendy

Cheers Nine, I should not be listening or watching to night at all, my blood pressure has been running away with itself this week despite increase in medication. Hospital to morrow for further checks because the Doc cannot understand why at the moment. All City supporters have blood pressure problems though, not just me.!!!!!

Chuky…the investors are there, you have to look at the bottom of the chip paper where the vinegar has not touched, you will also notice a bid for arsenal at 1.2 Billion, now Kronke could throw a battered cod on that but plenty of investors, maybe they do not like the look of Fifa/Uefa management that puts them off…who would blame them!!!! I am OK will be watching my local team, a three minute walk from home!!!! Oh,, forgot to mention….I will not be an investor, even though I have just has a “massive”rise in my State Pension….£5…I think, but maybe not as much as that, I have not heard from the Bank yet questioning where all this money is coming from!!!!!
