Sean, I guess all clubs have them but the worry to me there appears to be a new breed of fan that think it is their right to say how a club is managed.
As to a bad season, well I with lots of other fans have spent year after year suffering but always let the Manager get on with his job, well most of the time, I do recollect a few “dodgy” managers. I also remember when almost the whole City fan base was against the owners letting Joe Mercer go in a very poor way, one of the best Managers we ever had. Fans!!! to days lot are pitiful

Sean….very true about the support of a Manager and another reason why I would not let any fans, any team near the small amount of perceived “say” they all want….they are more than fickle. Support the team and Manager through thick and thin…that is what a real fan does

I wish you guys would stop upsetting me with Kane to City!!!. He does not possess a raincoat for one or maybe an umbrella Manchester weather can be bettered anywhere and I am a Mancunian!!!!! I just cannot see Kane fitting City Plan A, B or C and Pep will not change tactics, even for Messi!!!!

As Part Exchange. I would say Mendy, Cancello,Jesus, Sterling…all had there chances and £50 million cash plus some Morrison points I have collected, Found some Green Shield books I could put in….are they any good now??? Antiques fair maybe but that would be Mr Levy problem

PS….I go back to an early topic of mine. Champions league should go to Champions only whoever that may be, it also takes care of the same country finals. If the want a “Euro league’ say of the 2/3/4 places…OK because that is what it is or if you like Champions league Div 2!!!!!! I know, I am being a little sarcastic but the Trade description act does not apply to UEFA apparently

Steve….spot on, with you all the way on the ESL point, however it is worth remembering that even UEFA favour “historical club value” so I do not see that much difference. All clubs, every season should start from zero but they should end with whatever they achieve. You can bet they will also found a way to stop same country appearing in a Final!!!!!!

Chuky….the reason I am against Kane not joining City is because we need to lower our average age, with the type of game we play. Kane is a good player, that is not in doubt but I just do not think he would fit City.KDB, Gungdogam, Mahrez and Fernandinho all at or nearer the end of there time rather than beginning. Replacements have to be found sooner rather than later if we are to keep up the momentum but future stars not the expensive ready made ones. We have played all season without a centre forward, Pep may want to do it again by adding a couple of more like KDB instead, wherever they are!! Personally i think we need one, although we have scored well this season again, the chances missed must be an all time record

Chuky, IF and I mean a BIG IF he comes to City. I may start a protest Kane OUT….a good as player that he is I prefer other choices but since I am not paying it really does not matter. Think he would be good for Chelsea, Liverpool or even Utd but they have just agreed a new deal with Cavani. However, with all this media fodder I m a bit like you, do not believe 99.999% of it, it is hard to dream stories when you do not know what you are talking about

I doubt a Gentlemans agreement” will have any influence on Mr Levy, the alleged £150 million or whatever they can get over 100million. better alternatives when you are talking sums like that who are younger and maybe less injury prone next season, I guess that has to be taken into account. Somebody will buy him though.

Brighton “upped” there game to night, played very well, no complaints. City, we just never got going, our wing backs very poor. We were sleep walking to night, no problem with sending off…stupid, it then put extra work load on all the others, however, we just did not play well, as simple as that

I also would like to hear if he is OK. Hope he drops us a line to let us know. I do not want to loose anymore friends this year. Last week I lost my close neighbour of 50 years and the week before a very close friend and keyboard/ sax player and City fan, so I am not having a great time at the moment

Mike…he could save us a “bob or two” but doubt he is ready yet. Palmer, I think is ready. However , being ready also means getting some game time in, so, like you think they should be given chance. I think Pep will be trying some well disguised tactics out as well in last two games…I really want to win these two games before the Final

Nine…Chelsea will be well up for the CL game.I think City will spring a surprise selection for this game and it will be close. We need a good Ref and I am not sure about that. I do not want any cards, sending off for either side and the Ref noticed throughout the game…the reality maybe different Plus VAR hopefully gets everything right

You are right Mike, probably a good percentage of City fans who attend games will have felt same way.I would have been at that game but cannot remember the score or the team. I started saving programmes, stopped, started again then stopped. I have a few left but mostly of more recent times. There is a football site you can go on that gives the input, must look it up

It is impossible to judge Peps next game plan, I would suspect though he will give very limited pitch time to KDB, Gungdogan, Foden, Dias, Stones, Bernandino and fernadino as I see them all starting in the CL final. Give them 45 minutes, Walker can be rotated and the best of the LBs is “Zincho”
Brighton andEverton will notmake it easy for us. I do fancy Palmer, Doyle Howard Bellis and. Delap all having time on the pitch. Apparently the wheels are in motion for new faces as well
