We need players who can come from being being a goal/two down and win it that kind of determination, as we have witnessed already. The Spanish game to night was a cracker for the neutral but did not spring into life until they went behind 0-1, then 3-3. It was clear none of them had any legs in extra time but something drove them on. Great stuff. pity had to be a loser

The player who has impressed me most in the games I have watched at euros. is Sanchez who plays for Portugal, I do not know anything about hime or how old he is but his drive and skill I would take him at City

Adlab, unfortunately fees, agents fees and the rest have all spiralled out of control, who is at fault the most….the seller for jacking the prices up, the buyer for paying, the agent for added so much to the cost. I do not know the answer but the football authorities are notdoing much about it either, at least they could make Agents life more difficult if not by passed. Supply and demand does not enter into it when you now have so many average players costing so much

I think you are right Nine, we have different views on this, I just hope we sign somebody else, for less money, than quoted, let somebody else pick up the big bills for them. A couple of weeks we will probably have answers to all the questions. Absolutely nothing wrong with your take on this Nine. I am just talking about what City fans I know think about it all…we could all be wrong!!!!

Nine…it is not a case of sitting him on the bench but he will be rotated and that means he will not be an automatic choice. We have only 3 players in that category and I am not even including Foden at this stage. I think City and otherswill find a way of rotating more and more as the game goes through more development. I just hope they do not replace whole teams at HT!!!!! We shall all see ina few weeks

Nine…I am the first to admit….I do not know everything , just enough to form a personal opinion and what I think the future is for City. I tend to think “outside the box” at times and think the most important thing for any club is how well it is run. Any business that ploughs so much money will look for a return, how long that takes depend very much on how it is run but nothing in the business world is forever.

Nine.Nobody knows, except media speculation, if 100 million is the final selling price. All these prices are crazy, valid or not, it is about time they were stopped. Some owners will want as much as they can get and make noises they want to keep the player. If City drop out of the Kane scenario I can see his price dropping significantly, the player will still want to move and his market value lowered. City do not want to pay more than they have to and have backed off before on players and clubs wanting too much. The selling club fixes the price.
Grealish..we have to respectfully disagree on this. There are squad players at City who have gained there “medals” but none are regulars, by that I mean , first on the team sheet…as good as he is, i do not think Grealish is at that level, maybe he can there but not at the moment.
I think at City for the moment, we have a squad, some will have achieved but know the time has come for change, some will go, no doubt about that.
The interesting part is how they will re stock the squad and I am sure they will include at least 2/3 Academy players. I also do not think City are planning just for next season but in future years, this also means as a club not just players. You cannot win every year, City know that, what you can do is be team that will produce a performance on a consistent basis. I am also sure they are planning for Peps successor as well as where the next CF is coming from The essence of being a good business and lets face it, that is what football is now

Nine…Bernado is on his way back to Portugal or Spain. i hope we keep him though. Re. City..again….you make no reference to the other side of the story…what if City do get them , they both could fail, we have good experience in failed expensive players as well. I guess we have to fall back on the old saying….there is no guarantees in football. As a staunch City fan there is no way I see us favourites next season, we will do well but that is not saying we will win it either. I see a ery tough season, many players from most clubs will come back more fatigued than when the season ended and this will disrupt plans and new players bedding in. I do not see the season takeing shape until over half way through because of it

Sterling…think he maybE staying unless RM or Barca come in…..and they will find the money from somewhere Cannot see him going to another EPL side

Grealish,,,as many have pointed out, he is a very good player but Ed pointed out what he thought the difference was between playing and not playing on a regular basis….If you are not playing,, on the bench or not even in the squad team of the day….he will not be a Regular that is my meaning and logical to me and will happen at City

maybe so, Steve, but it will loose whatever it has in sparkle and become a bore, they should see the signs now and plan ahead but that is something they are not capable of. Iam a football fan but even I think it is over exposed on TV and I do not think I am alone on this. On the basis of exposure being the target, why do the TV companies get together and have a football channel? Give the rest of the population a rest

Nine…none of the buys to date , except for KDB, Ederson and now Dias are NOT guaranteed starters…..and will we pay 100 million???….maybe 75 nearer the mark but possibly a P/e as well. You may call it rotation but guaranteed places in a City team are rare for most
