The funny thing about playing golf is that I have parred or bettered every hole on our golf course but not on the same round or same day!!!!! IThe highlight of my career was that I had 5 pts in a stableford comp on one hole…better than a hole in one for most part!!!! A hole in one I never achieved

It is bonkers. All they are doing is passing the resposibity to the public and we all know most are idiots when it comes to acting sensibly.They worry about the economy but if we are all dead there will be no economy!!!!

Nine…i know it is a bit of fun, but only if you are not hooked and go into massive debt, the family suffer…that is what I do not like about betting, destroys families, I have seen it personally and you can read plenty about it. I see no plusses in loosing money or being tempted by odds. OK, Iam grumpy on this subject

Nine…you are right….we are just asking for trouble inviting full capacity crowds. We do not have this under control by any means and it will get worse not because of what the Govt, any Govt says or does….it is down to people to act responsibly and we know now…..they are just not going to do that. I cannot help but smile at people going through all that hassle and expense when they could sit in the garden and enjoy OUR sun!!!

I have some unbelievable Golf story’s Nine even though I was never a good golfer but I did enjoy the walk..at times. One you would find very difficult to believe and even harder to understand but perfectly true. My golfing days are over but I do miss them

Nine…absolutely right. I was pleased with the overall performance by England and thought Southgate did a good job apart from the tactical plan in the Fianal and penalty shoot out rota, however, I hope he takes us to WC. our youngsters will emerge better players through this experience.

Nine…I would love westwood to win it…he will probably lead for 3 days and loose on final day….he needs to reverse that!!!!! I never had a decent score on a Links course, St Andrews and Southport being nightmare rounds for me, however St Andrews was played in a Gail, lashing with rain and the Caddies in the shop laughing at us but we had travelled a long way to play the course and was determined to do so. My favourite memory was playing a Par 3, at the top end of the course, cannot remember the number less than 180 yds I think and had to take a driver to it and that finished well short!!!! I also think my bag was carrying more water than was in the sea!!!!! I did the 18 though, the tea and whiskey was best have tasted afterwards!!!!

Sean…agree with all you say apart from Pogba and have to go along with Ed on this. Maguire, who I never rated but has blossomed into a real player and leader, If he gets a good partner Utd will have solved there defensive problem

Nike….I have no problem with people coming to England and working, whoever they come from. I believe a lot of the problem the comes from people who settle but want there own laws and way of living , the question is then why leave the country you came from? This must feed the anti migrant part of society with all the wrong ingredients. They want to change us and we do not want to change..that is where I see the conflict lies. It is very good to talk about equality, tolerance…that is always desirable but there are too many with entrenched views now and you cannot rely on Politicians, they are too busy fighting themselves and protecting there jobs and pension

Sean…it has been getting worse long before the 80s, we had a brief respite but the general trend has been getting worse. There are, of course , a number of factors why…football is just the attraction because it is easy picking and as you say social media has a lot to answer for I do not go along with this a “minority issue” either. This well worn excuse trips out every time for any occasion. What surprised me though that there appeared to be some systematic corruption with some stewards as well. Minorities are takeing over this country and we have not a clue how to reverse it. We even have a tax funded Broadcasting station so far Left it beggars belief. In my experience coming through the war years to the current situation as a fan I would say the 60s it started to go wrong. The late 40s and 50s were the best behaved fans when you could stand side by side with the visiting team fans, little or no stewards or Police. This is not just about football though and more to do how our level of respect for one and other, the influx of people from other countries, which we invited, to do work many in the UK did not want to do and worst of all, our education from the early years completely went in another direction. Gone are the basics or the 3Rs and I remember one of my sons at an early age coming home with needlework to do!!!To day they would see that as a good thing, I would have given my sons extra Maths, Physics, woodwork etc
I do not have a definitive answer to all this but I do know it will all end in tears and the same logic will apply to other countries that freely criticise us but there time will come as well The world has gone mad with wokery!!

There was enough camera evidence to single out theses idiots. I am still surprised that even one of them got anywhere near a door into Wembley. The mess in the squares in London they should be found brought back and made to clean the mess up but our soft system of waker will cut that off. There can be no excuse. Where do these people get the money from? Probably the same people who will go on a march because they are not getting enough dole money

Game over, consigned to the history box. There are positives to take from the competition and a few that needs lots of attention. Pickford had a very good final but I would like to see a better keeper for the WC, one that can distribute better. Walker will not be there and maybe Shaw by the time it comes around. Midfield. Maguire and Booth both ready now. Midfield. we do need an experienced general in there. Forward it depends on how they progress or not in the coming season, Doubt Kane will make it though Grealish is a luxury but sometimes you need that but it all depends on the overall tactical game and he is a free spirit, not to everyones liking. I would say more to look forward to than not. Southgate will have learned from this experience but we do need to play without fear in the future, that is how Italy beat us, they appeared confident even after going a goal down so early. I am over it, but we must do something positive about the stupid fans and the FA, again, did not plan enough to avoid such happenings…too busy takeing money elsewhere
