Nil…you worry about it too much. I know Liverpool will be well up for the City match, I have no doubt about that. City have to loose at some point but I do hope we shape up this week end because we are still not fully up to speed. I expect only defensive changes from us. I do not think this game centres around Haaland either, too many good team players in a team system is what we have, this includes Haaland of course and a real battle royal between VD and EH should be worth watching in itself
I hope it is a good enjoyable game, both teams normally give entertainment and that is what I want and may best team win

Chuky…I would not worry about it…they will probably change it again soon!!! I do not understand it either…play goes on for ages and they retro it. What if an injury occurred in those wasted minutes. Another mystery. the ball hits the ref, the advantage is given to the passing player….hoe does he know the ball will go where intended. For me, it is the same as hitting the post and if a player cannot pass around him he should take some extra lessons!! All daft to me but they will carry on doing all these changes regardless. Keep the game simple. nothing wrong with it since year dot except if you are a media Company.

Lucky…Haarland only scored 1 to day and missed 4. Sack him!!!!!!! MotM to day I am split between Bernado and Cancello
More minutes for youngsters which I am pleased about as well. Next up Dortmund on Tuesday who have drawn with Bayern Munich to day…that is a good result for them and warning to us

Comfortable win to night, really pleased some of the youngsters got a good run on the pitch. Grealish MotM for me, improving each game now but also happy Laporte back with 90 mutes on pitch, not the hardest game for him but that id `ok. Haarland…cannot say ant more about this young man

I am interested in how is now on the agenda with Americans, they are actually talking about playing it, cynic that I am really thinks, they are not really interested in the game of cricket but do like the commercial possibilities of joining a real World Series!!!!!! To morrow…we need to rest Haaland and Foden for week end, probably Bernado as well for the amount of running he does. I would continue with Grealish, use Alvarez, Mahrez and Palmer, Young Gomez is doing well so put him in. Laporte and Dias will be back but not Stones. Now, Pep will do something completely different!!!

Chuky…American football…no I am not obsessed with it but when I do watch for about 15 minutes I am amazed at the analytical emphasis that is put on it…just would not like it in our football…..I still have not figured out why they call it Football!!!!!!

An interesting video, I find once you start over analysing the game, changes will be made, then it becomes…how many changes do you need, the result will end up as not the game we grew up with. I am not against some change though, on the subject of penalties, I really think the attacking player should be going for goal and moving away from it, as we see many times now. I also think players should be penalised for not taking a throw in 20yds up field from where it should be. Back on penalties, I wonder if the game will develop into “specialist penalty takers” who come on the field just for that purpose??? Goalkeepers, I do not see a problem of them moving. I suppose, with more than a few possibilities of what can/cannot be done it has to be remembered for what it is, a PENALTY or scrap it and give a goal!!!! Nightmare in waiting!! Good subject

Ed….there is no such think for having. “no excuse to win CL”. This is football, anything can happen at any game, it has been like that since the year dot and will continue to be so. As we all know, you can be favourite and win nothing, I have seen too many banana skins to know any different.

Ed,,strangely enough, it must be the Mancunian in me, that the win was great but Utd should have done better, poor players that do little to fight for a ball and clueless at what to do with it when they have it. Tactics? Great goal by Antony though, the other two we gave you which Ederson and I are not happy about. Three goals conceded on own patch whichever way you look at it

Another thing which is annoying, with all this financial crisis and pressure on family budgets there is not one word of doing anything to ease Fans plight with ever increasing fixtures crowded into a short period. They have no thoughts of the fans plight they are only interested in filling slots in there calendars. At the same time, inflation does not bother those that get free seats and all the trimmings and smile down on the populist ..oh..and do not forget to buy your shirt!!!!! Thank you Fifa/UEFA/FA

Ed and Sean..you are too pessamistic, I think Utd can catch us out, we are not that great defensively but midfield and attack are still our strengths and I do not think we have settled yet as a team. I would like Laporte back but this may be a game too early and he will probably use him against Copenhagen on Wednesday. Foden and Mahrez need to up there game a little or I would put Alvarez straight in. I think it will be a good game, Mancunian fervour will see to that, it is great to have two Manchester teams showing capabilities again

Ed…I hope it is a good game on Sunday, City are not settled yet as a team but I hope we just pick the right team endplay well. Utd are improving and I will be interested how they approach this, I think you will test us and play an attacking game but you will need your defence to hold throughout. We will loose at some point, just hope it is not this game!!!
