Chuky…I would also add….it was not that long ago when working conditions here were disgraceful…with our own masters, be it Agriculture, Steel, Coal and the memories of babies under travelling Mule frames in cotton mills..less than 100 yrs ago. Then again how far do we all want to go back into slaves…Vikings, Romans? Germans tried twice and failed. We have not always been the aggressors/opportunist. You are right Nine, we should concentrate on what happens on the field. We, as fans cannot change anything, the FA will do as they are told. If you look at the re shaped football in this country it is now in the hands of TV, betting Companies, Alcohol etc and yes Middle East, Russian, Chinese and USA investment, Like it or not, that is the status and it is not going to change any time soon……anything but local benefactors , if there are any in the UK. You have to admire the teams that get by with good management and limited resources

Utd v City ladies game very entertaining , thought we did well with 10 players for two thirds of the game. We are missing a lot of players, even the sub bench could not be filled but we need to start winning again

Young Blue…there is a danger you put Tuchell on a pedestal which will mean his eventual fall will be harder for you. I am not wishing this on him, I think he is one of the best managers out there, equally I do not put Pep on a pedestal, because I know one day, things will not happen and he will go. It happens, always has, always will. Enjoy though while you can and best of luck for this season

Chuky, I am not defending anybody, what I am saying is your lack of facts.
I am also sure the working classes of UAE did not bother about my family in a 2up and 2 down, no bathroom and outside loo.and had to live through hard times…it is all relative. That is a problem of society to day, they just do not understand what went before them. I know you do a lot of banter as well, but there are people , still alive, (just) who lived through real bad times and those memories will always be with them. keep the banter going but some of us still remember what is was like.

Chuky…I have no problems with your opinions but you also need to relate to real facts…I was brought up, lived and worked in the area where the Etihad is positioned, in fact worked just a long par 5 from the ground so I KNOW what has changed and without question for the better, Children’s Parks included!!!!! Farage is OK as politicians go, raises a lot of issues but no answers what he would do, then that is typical of all the lot of them, same for newscasters. Very true Mak, I would also add Augerro was not really a traditional striker. He was small, won few headers in box but he was incisive in the box. Roamed all over though to fit in with team but I never considered him as a traditional striker as we know but what a player.The pattern has been put down. With the current squad we have seven players capable of scoring 10goals each, some should score 15-20. Laporte, Dias and Stones should chip in as well. It is not happening at the moment but we should get better, well that is my hope I would have concluded the Kane saga much earlier and gone for the short term option
