Great win for Liverpool. Utd, well hard to describe that non performance but if Ole goes, others must follow because this is not down to just one man. It appears to me, whoever comes in with this squad will also have a difficult job.

Happy for the win , performance and three points. Brighton made a game of it in the second half and we cannot be expected to keep that level of performance for 90 minute every game and we should expect teams will pressure us in the course of the game. Ederson was very foolish giving them a goal, he needs to start learning how not to do this, he has previous. I was more concerned with Cancello and Walker picking up yellow cards early but they kept disciplined. We are getting back to our best but not there yet.

Agree Nine…let us see what transpires. The only thing I cannot get my head around is that everybody agrees it is the Saudi Govt that has bought in and everybody agrees they have more more than they know what to do with, the question I ask….why would they want to bother with Sponsors? I am not trying to defend anything but put forward another view that perhaps none of us really knows what is going on and if you take on powerful people you had better have a better defence than they have now. Time will tell, as long as we are all friends I care less, I am more concerned with Brighton on Saturday

Lucky…agree it is frightening for future generations. Rules of war no longer exist unless you are charging some poor foot soldier!!

Lucky…I did not understand your line about City lawyers, can you explain please.
Nine…I have said before…it will all end in tears…..the more you try and regulate the more messy it will become. Sponsorship deals have been going on for years, I doubt City or Newcastle will go under without them and I would love to see no sponsorship, from a personal point. Nice Ad free shirts, some of them are collecting like Boy Scout badges now!!! Whoever “the suits” put in charge to manage such a regulation will costs as well. There are also real examples of it being done outside sport as well by commercial business, even Govt Departments but once again football is highlighted. Nobody will win this merry go round. The real problem is football cannot generate the funds to support itself through the gate or merchandise for the amounts it needs to keep afloat. I’m talking about all football not an isolated one/two.

Impressive performance from City to nigh, slowly getting back to there best. Both Full backs score and we have 16 different goal scorers to date for this season, I wonder if Kane is amongst them???

Nine….who decides what is a fair market value???? Does it also mean that other clubs cannot get the amount they want from there sponsors so find a necessary tool to block anybody else. It will all end in tears when sponsorships are re-newed for all clubs and as things go then have to be vetted. Also, how many sponsors can you have? We have all said at one point or another. “Football is a business” well let them get on with it and get “the suits” do something about improving other aspects of the game which they have neglected over the years.
I do not like the principle of Sponsors influencing events in football but once you start to close doors, you can be sure, others will spring open and probably worse than the original proposal._____________________________

If Salah does not get a hat trick against Utd defence it would be seen as a failure by some!!!!! Great player, would not like to see him play for another team in Europe and Liver[pool find a way of keeping him

Sean….”to strong for Watford”. A comfortable win , away from home as well. We will have a job catching you at this rate of scoring!!!!

Below par performance but ground out a win, so cannot complain too much. Burnley put in a great effort though….they too need a striker, could have had 2/3 to day. Must play better on Tuesday.

I do not think it very wise of Sterling to suggest to City. “play me or sell me” attitude. Start scoring goals lad, that is why he out of the team. His work ethic is excellent but with his capabilities he should be producing more. City would take the money and re invest it elsewhere if that is what he really, really wants

We need Newcastle in the mix asap, however they do it. A lot depends on the Managerial choice and the funds he has, plus, will he have any say on who comes /goes? Between now and Christmas is a vital time for them, therefore, a lot of planning and action needs to be happening in this period.

If that is the team Sean, you are far too strong for Watford, even with a new Manager, cannot see anything but a comfortable win.

Rover…well they are not going to get “all that money” again from City. At the going rate 30 million would be a big ask for me and Levy will not sanction that so he will let a good player rot.

Mak….Levy looses on two counts. He has a player underperforming and he has lost revenue. I suppose Kane likewise but, just for me I am happy because I did not want the transfer in the first place.
Nil.. Grealish…it is true he was not at his best but at least when he got the ball something happened, you do not have to dribble all the time to be effective I will agree with Southgate though as a collective performance…it was poor. Too many jaded players , why, I do not know. I think Saka was brought on as a better defensive player than Grealish..then promptly nearly gives Hungry a goal and what an tactic…shutting up shop.
Some credit to Hungary though they made a game of it and were not going to be rolled over, that was clear from the start, we just did not “up” our game_____________________________

Not really impressed. Cannot understand why he took Grealish off, he was causing more problems than Kane, Sterling put togather but then again, what do I know?? Stones was our best player and he is a CB!!!! Spirited display by Hungray but relied too much on hope rather than skill. Penalty was correct. Kane/Sterling should have had two goals each, poor finishing. Mount Foden and Rice worked hard but just could not control the game. Like City, England no longer have a striker
