Very true. Lucky, Pep has great respect for the game and those directly involved . After the Ole saga has finished the media will line up the next scapegoat, that is how they earn a living, I would rather sweep the streets.
Crystal Palace….last kick off at normal 15.00 time we played Palace they won!!! We have to play at our best to day or they will win_____________________________

Unlucky to night but we should not be missing penalties. The general play was good with all the changes. Our biggest problem is KDB has lost his way, I am sure he will find a way back but at the moment it is just not happening for him

Great Cup match, hate penalty shoot outs but if you miss from 12 yds you cannot win. We have had a good run in this competition, somebody else turn now.

Ed…I do not think the Utd Board know how to move Ole and no idea who they really want. Apparently, he has three games to turn it round, lets suppose he wins all three, not impossible, there will now be a lingering doubt that he will not last. In a way, I feel sorry for the guy, must be an awful feeling for him and his family, I know he will be compensated well but it is not the same is it ,as doing a good job. he has support at Board level and with Fergusson and that could be important

I am all for public transport, our village does not have one bus operating to anywhere now. Before they price people out of there cars they need to put in a service at a schedule people can use for work/school and shopping.
cart before horse principle never applied to any Govt thinking. Electric cars will be significantly more expensive to produce, buy and run. precious metals will all be used up for Battery consumption, Electric companies will rip us off again. I see no gains. Emission level on cars can be reduced, it is not rocket science The car makers need to stop making cars that do over 100mph or speed limit…..what is the point?_____________________________

Well and old dodderer like me can go a long way back and think of great players. I use the City archive which shows full matches from way back but I am interested in all the players and teams who played in different era’s. It is really fascinating how the game as changed, not always for the better but we move on, as they saying goes. I enjoy to days game but not the theatricals, VAR and cheating. However, they are well paid to day to do it well!!!

Hightown…you are absolutely right…Salah…enjoy him and hope he stays. We had the same with Silva and Augerro…you certainly miss great players when they go.

Well, ED and Lucky…I am trying not to be the slayer in this topic of Ole, being a City fan as well. I just think there is more happening or not at Utd than the manager, after all, there has been a run of managers in recent times and nothing has changed.elsewhere. I am sure Utd will solve it eventually because they have a good squad but no leaders or tactical game. When they play City cam sure they will be more than up for it whoever is in charge

Lucky…I agree with what you say about managers….but what if he sets them up right for the game and the players do something different…he has no control over that

Nil…I actually picked Silva just ahead of Rooney as MotM, thought Rooney was brilliant throughout and never stopped trying but Silva, as we know, is on another planet

Nil, the similarities between the City and Liverpool games with Utd are wide. In the City game Utd tried to play football up to the 4/5 goal even though they played with 10, longer than Utd of to day. The difference between the teams in the City game was down to City midfield of Yaya and Silva. Hart had few shots during the game to bother him but Utd had a lot of possession for most of the match. From what I have heard of the Liverpool game, Utd never got to grips with Liverpools game plan. City were clinical just like Liverpool though

Mak…I think the team on the field has to take a big share of the result after all, it is a very expensive squad , I am not sure of the facts but maybe more than Liverpool team, at least not much different. The Manager will always be the fall guy but at some clubs I just wonder just how much say they have.
