A very fine player Mikus but driving into the sunset!!!!!!The game to day is about young players more and more but I would lament not seeing KDB, Fernandinho, Gungdogan etc as much as Salah, fermino. etc and can understand more why David Silva left earlier than I would have liked.

Ed.. we are not going to agree about Grealish..accepted The best part of Grealish’s game suited Villa and himself, but if he wanted to improve he had to move, be it City or another club. Let us be fair, it is far too soon to judge and remember I did say I would have bought somebody else but I am also prepared to give him time. As to the money spent on him, that is not his fault and nobody comes with a guarantee to do well when first signed, you only have to look at Utd for comparison I just think it is unfair to single him out when there are plenty of other players with hefty price tags and upkeep, not doing well. It happens and it will not change anytime soon although world economics will decide on the future for us all

Ed…a couple of points…there is a danger that the value of a player is linked directly to the fee and performance, as I suggest you are doing.After all, how would compare others against it, plenty out there, you could even compare the money spent on Maguire!!!I am not sure you are right about the City fans either, they have always loved a good winger, saying that, I was one who would not have signed him
The old chestnut about the striker always appears, we have scored 70 goals in the league so far, not bad. Same last year, same year before with limited appearances from Auger. I have no doubt we will sign a striker at some point but we have just signed one from Brazil, we have delay waiting his chance, in the meantime, the system is set up to score goals from anyone….and it is a proven system with current squad. Of course, we should score more but a Kane or whoever does not guarantee that in the way City play and we are not going change a successful system for one player.I also think Emerson fancies his chances up front!!!!

I do not understand the Grealish/Sancho discussion, OK, opinions but surely too early to make judgements. City paid over the odds for Grealish, silly money but I think Grealish has done OK , so far, fitting into a Pep team was never going to easy, Grealish knew that, so it was not going to like turning up at Villa Park. Grealish and Sancho are not even the same type of players. Grealish had performed well in the Premier prior to joining City so was a target for other clubs besides City. Sancho, I think is a good player, I am not sure he has the right club but that could easily change next season with more direction but he has looked lost this season. The more experienced players at Utd could have helped him more

I have no idea what to expect to night against AM., a very capable side.. I doubt it will be a full house, unlike most, City fans are allergic to Eufa competitions, I guess it is time we got over it but CL is important to players and Club but I have never been a fan, not so much about the footballing side but the corrupt organisation. Pep, I am sure would say. “we are in it, to win it”. Good luck to night then and also Liverpool, no injuries to either side so we can have a real match on Sunday

Satisfied with that performance, although I expected Burnley to be a little tougher it was magical moments that undone them. I have to say that I thought Ake did a great job, as he does every time he is called on but it was a good team performance, just need to sharpen up on finishing

Mikus..I hope Gerrard, Arteta, Company Rooney do make it to become top Managers but also not forgetting the Eddie Howes, Sean Dyches etc. They all work under very restrictive conditions now and changing laws. As for Reporters, well they get paid for asking stupid questions, all about a headline again, makes you wonder who are the real attention seekers

Nike…I also read this article…he had a point but it applies to other teams as well It is a guaranteed outlay in Dividends by some clubs no doubt that is why the commercialisation of the game has taken over. sad but true, cannot see it getting any better

I will be interested to see how this new , young striker from Argentina fits into Peps plans, reports say he is very good but like most when joining a new club and a strange language and culture will take some time to settle/ Jesus fitted very well but he is not really a striker. Then we have Delap who has an opportunity…will he make it???? He will at another club because if Harland does arrive he will have tough competition. I am not sure , for all Harlands talents, if he is robust enough. Next season we will not be short of strikers but our game will have to change as well.
