I have just been reading Mr Rooneys comments on the City v QPR game. He thinks QPR should have been investigated because he thought they gave the game to City. Goalkeeper at fault as well and for one of their players celebrating with City after the match. If he wants to be a credible Manager in the future he needs to watch the match again, if he ever watched it QPR really tried throughout the game. I could not blame the keeper for any of the goals. I could suggest the times when Utd had more than 93.20 to win their games. Poor looser to bring it up after all these years

Nine, you are missed my good friend, I am sure all on the Forum want you back with us when you feel ready and not before. We know you want to be back so just keep progressing and by the time the season starts again we shall all be together again.
I have to say I was disappointed with Chelsea yesterday and Liverpool just edged it for me in what was not really a good match. Dante made a difference when he came on but it was too late and the format was set for both teams….Penalty shoot out. I have always believed that no Pro should miss from 12 yards but I guess the occasion does get to some
As to my City, I feel nervous about to day, just do not know how fit a team we can put out so I hope pep has a plan

There was a lot of unnecessary noise during Abide with me and the National Anthem but I thought it appeared all around the ground not just at the Liverpool end, wherever it came from it was disgraceful and showed lack of respect for the event or the Nation. Some of course will applaud it and that is the sorry state our great country has become

threes..I believe TH is a good choice but he has a huge task to change the mentality of this squad, he will need massive support, not just financially, it mostly down to the Utd Board, they have to listen and learn now or it will be another similar scene. I hope not but I cannot see the Glaziers listening to anything but the cash till ringing, they know that they will always be ways of cashing in and they are happy with that. Football is secondary in there minds. Having produced the money to buy a lot of players and Managers but who did they listen to? Anyone? How much responsibility was delegated to the manager/staff to make decisions or at least say yes/no. This , I see is Utds biggest problem I could be wrong of course but I do hope Utd sort it for Manchester. Football in England is not the same American football in the USA and the structure but if more American owners come in, think maybe 4/5 now they will force change which none of us will like.

Nike..lets be more frank….Villa have lost more games in fewer matchers than “weaker” Newcastle. In fact Villa have lost 50% of there games. In my view there is no difference between Villa and Newcastle so I will be looking for a healthy win from “pool” to night

City do have spending power, however, we have pulled out of a number of negotiations for players where City thought the price was not value, the last being Kane at 150 million plus. My view is you can have a team of expensive players plus a bench of equal status but it guarantees you nothing. I also think, in football, everything changes in time and we should just enjoy the game for what it is without looking for price tickets or excuses . City could still finish with nothing this season but I suspect many City fans like myself will not be looking for excuses because teams have been better than us. There is no such thing as a level playing field in football, never will be and the more they try and alter the rules the worse it will become. Keep it simple, the way it was designed to be. My last point is that, does anybody think saying those fans in lower leagues who watch a match be thinking they would be rather better somewhere else, no, they go to watch a game of football…status does not come into it. The upper teams of EPL forget that…all of them. We have been seduced by TV, big money transfers, multi kit merchandise selling and Corporate boxes and forgot how to watch 22 players play football and appreciate what they see from all. It is only a matter of time before we see “periods” instead of HT. Pop corn sellers walking up and down the isle, razz-a -ma tazz dancers etc…where is football going? Well guys..that is something for you to think about and how you would improve the game of football

Tower…I think Utd will take the same view as City will do with Mendy….they will be out of the club. The Clubs status/image is more important than any linkage and sponsors will have a view

I think Haarland will find the PL difficult in first season, in saying that CBs will be cautious about his abilities. Patience is required, he is still young. Playing with KDB, Gundogan Bernado will help. I do expect a major signing in midfield though since we shall loose Fernandinho, some boots to fill there, brilliant footballer in that position

Adlab. it would probably make sense but I guess he will try and find out if he is up to a big CF or nor not Fernanhiho will go in, if not, Rodri, we can get other midfielders to do a job but I think I would also trust a youngster as well from what I have seen
