Where has Nolito come from Surrey? Yes , Kompany got away with that one, apart from that he played well as did the whole team. Sterling still making me tear what little hair I have left but credit to him, he works his socks off I just wish he would get the crosses better and finish better…he is capable. I am lost for words about KDB…..Feynoord..I would rest him or play him for 30 minutes until we get our noses in front. Rest Silva as well bernadino and Gundogan capable. We will go into transfer market for CB now

Nine..like you, I am a football fan first followed closely by City
As to great teams, difficult one but cannot disagree with your thoughts, I may add the Hungarian team that deolished England others were good but short lived. I also remember a Great Britain team playing the Rest of the World, circa 1947 both great teams but “one offs” The Busby babes I think would have gone on to be great, managed of course by a City Captain!!!!! never mind, we have Brian Kidd who has been an excellent servant for the club
I think City and Chelsea fear the same….will the managers actually finish the job…I think Pep will, he will not want to leave before he achieves and he will not be under any pressure until he does….why…because despite not winning anythin last season the culture change in the club is what we are reaping now_____________________________

newbalance…not true…I do not mind Liverpool winning, I was really pleased for Leicester and hope to see Stoke, Burnley give it a go someday. If a team gets the points at the end of the season…they deserve it and good luck to them. I enjoy the football match, of course I want my team to win but hey-ho its not the end of the world if it does not happen although City have been to the end of the world and Liverpool have not, Stockport, macclefield Southend , we even struggled against them at times

16th November 2017 at 4:02 pm in reply to: England V Brazil – Tuesday 8pm / Italy fail to qualify for the World Cup #7552Chuky….at least Hart is getting good practise in with that W. Ham defence being what it is at the moment. I think Moyes will tighten it up though

Injuries, suspensions may decide the fate of the league yet plus Refereeing/assistants They all play a part. The current lead is nice to have and it is true we could loose some games but by same logic, so can others. My conclusion is it is too early to say, that is the reality

14th November 2017 at 4:32 pm in reply to: England V Brazil – Tuesday 8pm / Italy fail to qualify for the World Cup #7446Nine….is Solanko good enough for atry, obviously Southgate thinks so. I think Wilshere is a talent, however, Southgate is trying to build a squad and a team method for Russia, wishere has real question marks about his fitness and only a long run of games will put that right but even Wenger is not selecting him as a starter….mind you,,,Wenger gets a lot wrong so that is no pointer either

Nine…I understand what you are saying but “ODDS” up or down do not reflect reality, why, because they change as you describe and they are just a tool to attract punters money. There is always the impression that the “ODDS” are right this in turn, tempts the punter. I have to admit to you though I am not a betting man as you will gather and I have seen what betting culture does to families, then they call it an addicition when its out of control and families do suffer. In this day and age, you have to ask the question, what % of your disposable income is spent on an betting each week. Like smoking, it is better not to start Sorry for the sermon it is just something I feel sad about for the families and there are plenty of them

14th November 2017 at 9:36 am in reply to: England V Brazil – Tuesday 8pm / Italy fail to qualify for the World Cup #7436Nothing to loose, give the youngsters a chance, score irrelevant, experience from game is what matters. I feel confident enough with them they will not be overwhelmed, they just need a “general” and we do not have one at the moment The midfield we have are workhorses rather than creative players, they do it well but will need more for when the World Cup really starts

Nine..you may well be right in the first part “generated by results” but I never knew a willing “investor” to make the bookie money? Investor to me means…you bet, the bookie win and you loose…that is the reality do you not think?

11th November 2017 at 5:00 pm in reply to: England V Germany – Friday 8pm – VAR to be introduced at Wembley! #7428Thought it was a decent game to watch for a friendly. Stones gave good performance, Sane was excellent and Gungdogan paced himself throughout with short passes. England will need a better midfield and better strikers for games that matter. There was a little too much desperation play to England which may have been understable since too many rookies at this level, lots of endevour but little creativity or skill, good experience though for the starters

If the title is already decided by some, what is the point in going to a match? The media and Bookies want to talk City “up” so they can have a fall, fortunately we have a Management with feet on the ground, as are many City supporters. I have respect for all the clubs in the Premier, no easy games and for me, with 80 points still to play for, wide open, it is just we have a little breathing space, yes we will loose some matches but it also means, by the same logic, other teams will loose as well. No guarantees for anybody

Jim. that is the problem but I guess the flip side to this iswith the schedule we now have plus internayionals, a form drop, injuries, suspensions mean Pep plans for a high quality squad where any player can slot in quickly. Any player that does not buy into the concept will be allowed to leave…no matter who. The players know themselves that they are at a good club, they will not play every game and they are well looked after in every sense, the club also is very ambitious….if they think they can do better…good luck to them I suspect most will accept the situation, others like Augerro,Silva, Fernandiho are comeing tothe end of there contracts, I would not like to see any of them go but Father time moves on and football to day is an everlasting changeing scenario. This only works if you have a manager with a vision and he performs to that level of expectancy

I am always frustrated with Sterling but I cannot fault his work rate, tackling and not afraid to get stuck in. He is let down by decision makeing which ultimately affects his footwork. The other point is opposing teams have to plan for him knowing he is capable. I just hope he will mature a little quicker after all, he has some really good experience behind him now for his age but I do not want him to end up like Walcott
