They knew they would not beat us at football so they had to invent whatever comments they could make before the game to rattle us,,,well they were right…give them credit…they did rattle us but we were holding the rattle. I think he is clever at deception, anything goes to hide how underperformed he and his team were. Of course, it is made for the media but as Jim as pointed out, we do not know exactly what happened only that Jose went to City’s dressing room…that is where the investigation will start. I would advise Bournemouth not to celebrate though!!!!!

Big Jim..we have played better than that at OT, not seen anything better than the 6-1 but to day was very good and again well organised teamwork with the accent on attack Mourinho’s jibes backfired on him. A Home team purporting to be challengers with a ten man defence only Utd fans understand why they pay for tactics like that

Given that our youngsters were probably the best performers from City I expected more from Yaya , Gungdoghan and Bernando, Sane and Jesus I expected to be half interested, the defenders…say no more
I do not buy the game being a non entity, every game we play should show the desire to win, we did not have that. It breeds complacency in the team. Despite what I may have said before I think we need a couple of good signings to freshen up this squad.

Pep will not want to loose, that is for sure, so whatever team he puts out will have to maintain a level already set/ Team selection can only be made from the original list submitted to UEFA so no youngsters in at this stage. I expect Gungdogan, Yaya,Mangala, Danilo Bernando and Bravo to start, anybodys guess after that. We know KDB will not be there and we dare not risk Siva, I would probably give Walker 45 min

The player thought it was respectful and probably appreciated, why should it concern anyone else? Years ago when fans from both sides stood next to each other acknowledged visiting players respectfully without trouble, we have declined so much. The same goes for Reporting, it used to be honest

Of course some tiredness does creep in, this is compounded by defensive opposition, never easy to play against at best of times but credit City for keeping the focus on a win. They could have made it easier on themselves by scoreing early though. Shaktar, will be all about “keep ball” rather than anything else and try and get something out of it. The important game now has become bigger at OT, it is not OK to think if we loose we still have an important lead, Pep will not think like that but we have to defend better because they have players who could do the job.I wish Pogba was playing but I guess he wanted to do some Christmas shopping and that may have been more important for him and by the way Paul, we still have Mendy, Stones injured
