Maverick…in footballs yesterday when Utd were in full flow, I admit, they were good to watch. however this was a time when  City fans had been mostly brought up on dire football in the lower leagues. The progress we have made in the last 10 years has eventually caught Utd up and some may say , passed them now, I prefer to wait for the season to end because no matter what any fan says footbal is football and anyting can happen. This is not due to any loss of confidence in the current City set up but fate, no matter how that falls. In a way I am proud of Citys yesterday because the wait has been worth it from watching us play Macclesfield to Barcelona. Enjoy the game for what it is not what the media portrays teams or individuals…you go to the match  how many players on the pitch?  I enjoy players like Salah,Hazard etc as I hope non City fans enjoy watching Silva and KDB

Pagan,,,thats the word  “HYPE”, to me a non functional addittion,we can do without. As for Revenue, well I do not mind any company makeing a profit but it stops with me when they collect there Revenue from Betting Companies and the like, punters pay at both ends and the middle to.

The end result we pay, apart from a small minority ,never win. YES, I am a risk averse person when it comes to gambling. What I have I have earned, so I pay for my season ticket and live within my own budget.

At some point they will get fed up with football and move on and pour money into something else, clubs will have to manage then

That is what the media do nine, no news so invent or re invent it. They have not a clue about unbiased and preagmatic reporting. Pundits who think they know all about the game, in my opinion there are a lot of fans that make more sense than they do….but they get paid to do it

Gill would have known, to charge Augerro would have brought crowd control into the case in which case it would be bad news for Wigan for not controlling crowd and it is no use saying “it was a minority”   who was counting then?   best to let the incident pass but no fault should be put on Augerro

Adlab….lets be honest about this  Delph got what he deserved…it was a stupid and unessary tackle. I do agree about the Wigan players though, they were disgraceful and this sort of incident should be stopped for all time, Only the Captain should discuss with REF   Players kept well away…or else booked

Dissapointing   but lets move on, well done Wigan you repeated your performance against us last time but you went  downhill fast after that….try and avoid that again. For City, Bad Walker mistake, he always has one in him, dozing off but Stones should have covered it and Bravo got his angles wrong Sane did not contribute anything, we need Sterling energy for Sunday. I would keep Bernando in team though.  WE are out now on FA Cup this also gives us a few games less. Not too concerned about Caroboo Cup either, Lets get the PL sewn up and give CL a good go.  Good luck to Wigan  next round

I am sure that most fans do not want divers in the team, no matter who it is or who they are ED.

It is becoming part of the gme and must be halted but I doubt te authorities have an answer other than tweak the laws. I have been of the opinion for some time they are trying to make football a non contact sport, which to those that want it that way will mean

1. faster game for TV audience

2, Split the game into periods (to get more ads in( Say 4×30 minute periods)

3 Sin bin time

4, 18./22 squad which can be rotated at any time

 

 

Horrible thoughts but you can see changes comeing

Chuky..you are right about the TV nonsense. I never subscribed to commercial TV , from what little I have seen the camera work was poor, the pundits…have heard better from schoolkids and the mathamatical re constructions are nonsense. Trying to make science out of sport. I have seen some games, my son’s TV and others but my choice is radio rather than TV, although I suppose radio can be poor unless you have a good commentator.

I would not be over concerned about your defense makaveli, City have been lambasted by all the pundits for years, even now. What the Pool performance said last night this is a team game and like City…we will let in goals, we will loose matches but enjoy playing the game. Owners, of course may think differently so a cool head is needed and always a longer term objective When it comes to attacking and entertainment you have to say City, Pool and Spurs are out in front
