newbalance…go and watch a ladies match…the nearest thing to what football used to be like before all the diving, arguing with refs anything but getting on with the game. In the games I have watched the quality is very good, constant play. If you are like me in so far as the World Cup does not interest you then just thing its only a couple of month before the pre season friendlies and new faces arriving and old ones going with you team

I have to be happy with City, CL would be nice sometime in the future but will never be my priority, given the choice I would take the PL over CL everytime but I know I may well be a minority on that. I also still value the FA Cup. At this time of the year I alwys feel a little sad, missing the anticipation of the week end game, but when you think about it they will be back in training in a couple of months, sorry, I cannot generate enough interest in what else is being played because England cannot build a competative team, some may argue against that as well but without a decent playmaker we look positively bare as a team looking for an idea. Next season will be different for all teams and the game will move up another notch and good luck to all

Maverick…I am not focusing on Jose or Utd other than I could not understand why he made statements about City. I have no amanosity towards Utd or Jose, like I said previous, I used to watch them, being a Mancunian, I do like to see both teams do well.It was just a case of WHY does he need to do this

srd79 global politics should not enter a football topic. Foriegn owners of clubs have done good things,what there respective countries have done or doing is not relavent, be it USA, Saudi, Russia, Asian. Driving down the road for a burger/chicken leg I guess nobody thinks about it then As we all know, because we have been told, this is a global society now!!!! works for some , not others. Maverick…I do not remember saying Utd was” draining to watch.” I am a Mancunian and at one period of my life watched both teams. I still watch Utd on TV but you have to say it has not been enjoyable as it used to be.

You are right, he has trophy’s which says he is a good manager, my problem is I do not understand a guy with a talent has to come out with some very odd comments, particularly when facts are wrong. Why comment on things out of his control anyhow, he should concentrate on his own team. He probably has or had more money than he has ever had, but moans because the team above him has more, what about the rest Jose who think Utd have more than them for decades including City

newbalance…I would never let emotions get that far with any football team. As much as I love City and supported them through thick and thin, mostly thick it is only a game of football. Look around you and see people who have real problems. This is a problem who live and breathe football too much. There are other things in life to enjoy. I am sure you can lift yourself with a bit of effort, you contribute well at times but please do not get carried away, there is more to life thN FOOTBll and Mr Shankly was wrong in his view

The only thing I would say about Brendan Rodgers is..yes..he has it easy , however it is hardly his fault if the rest of football in Scotland is not competative

If he really wants to be a manager, he has to start somewhere. Personally, I would have thought he would have been better with a Champinship on Div 1 club to start. He will be a risk for any club but it works both ways as well. He does have experience on his side but other experienced players have also tried and failed. I thought Stuart Pearce would be a cracking manager for any club…then…what do I know

Pogba is talented, no doubt about that I think his problem is focus on the job to be done with the game he is playing. Occasional spells of doing things right are often outweighed for doing everything else poorly. Jose or anybody else can never change this, it is up to the player
