Alfie…Sterling frustrates the hell out of me, however, he misses more goals than he scores goals but one thing is undeniable, he is a team player and puts in a shift plus and that is never an issue from Pep or Southgate Lets hope it gets resolved quickly

I hope this problem does get addressed correctly but I will not pre judge Everton fans because doing that follows the same trap that got in this mess. It is all about behaviour, no matter who, what or where it is and the standards in this country are going downhill and it is no use makeing a point of “its only a minority” the minority’s are taking over…it is already happening

Cityboy…I think Pep did when he switched earlier in the second half, Imo, Sterling is a winger, same as Sane. Fernandinho is well overworked, he needs a rest, bothgoals preventable, Sane did not track Kante and out big boys Walker/Laporte should have covered Luis but credit Chelsea they took advantage of our too many below par performances

Makaveli…it did change to night….because your team had a good win, we lost and you go top….now , it is all about how you plan you next games. far too many games for both teams and others in same position so I expect some will Struggle over this period and we will see by end of january who the front runners will be

We were not up to standard to night, even Silva lost his way, only Fernadiho had purpose and he was injured. Not the end of the world, Liverpool can now take up the leadership and we will be amongst the chasers, let us see what happens over the Christmas period I do hope we have KDB and Augerro back though.

Makaveli…I was dissapointed with Liverpools performance but I think it is just a case of knowing how to put it all together again. They have the ability, although I think your midfield needs to betterin terms of linking the play.The problem Mr Klopp has is he knows the high press game well, but it will not be suitable for every game so he has to resort to a Plan B and for whatever reasons the players are not right for that, so he has a dilema or is it lack of trust in players for plan B. He knows plan A is not sustainable throughout the season.
I am sure he will get it right

Well guys, as you can all see, I am not a betting man, more a realist and I am surprised if you cannot see Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs or Arsenal takeing points off City, keeping in mind we are only 2 points in front. I want City to win but I see a fight to the end this season and I am not takeing any game as a win. City can be beaten and we will loose, we are not unbeatable, it is up to other teams how they progress. I will be pleased to see DeBruyne and Bernando back though
Pragmatic maybe but it is my honest opinion as well

Hightown…I am only referring to the future not the past. UEFA are becoming weaker, really nothing to do with the competition itself but who will run the game in the years ahead. My thinking is , it will not be UEFA

Liverpool have every chance of winning to night, I think more will depend on there up and coming youngsters performances than Salah or Mane.
Mak, at this time of the season the season I would not put our chances higher than 50/50 When Mid February comes round I may review that.
I am happy at 50/50 because I know we have a good squad , what I do not know is injuries, loss of form etc etc and they are big parts of any optimism I may feel

Nine…we all live in hope, good shout but I have a feeling Liverpool will win as well. This is going to be bad news, UEFA will certainly not like all the British teams in and I bet they are working with brussels to eliminate us all together as part of Brexit!!!!!!!! I always failed to understand why we ever became interested in Sanchez or Jorghinho but then City know better than me. For me Sanchez was not a CITY player we needed a Silva Mk2 but now we have him in Bernado. Jorghinho, I thought PL would be too quick for him….I could we wrong on this but if you look at Chelsea midfield two of Kante and Jorghino they should be on top of the division by now. The next few months are going to be a real slog by the end of January things should be clearer

Hightown..think you are tight Stones/Gomez partnership looks good, early day but very promising. Rashford is a different player when he plays like this, I can only think he knows what he has to do with England and does it. Sterling will always miss chances but he does more than make up for that with his work and assist. This young team can only improve

Thanks Nine, I am far from perfect but I do like to be pragmatic about many of the topics, keeps my feet on the ground. That is why I say City have not won anything this season, 2 pts now is nothing with such a long season. Last season was exactly that now….. history

Ed…while I would agree with most, I still stick with friendlies are a complete waste of time and in the new football era are a risk to whatever club…for what? If the Nations Cup, which has been shoe horned in between WC and EC does have an advantage for blooding youngster but the downside again is fixture congestion, longer season. As much as I like football, I do want a rest from it as well, so I can imaginge how players and management feel. I am not really looking forward to the forthcoming changes, I would rather watch City v Burnley than City v Beijing, however, I cannot stop the band wagon rolling on and it become so big it may well pop in generations to come
One thing for sure the Administrators will make a lot of money from it.
