Nine…whatever team Warnock puts out it will be 11 defenders with heavy boots. This will be a tougher game than people reliase and I hope we get some shooting practise in from outside the box as well as inside

NB…..is that an “own goal” then!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that matters to me is how well we play, what other teams do I do not think about , if Liverpool win all there games good luck to them but as a fan you should only think what your team is doing not what others do. Everythin else nobody has control of, it is a game of football

Sean…I have seen more decisions go against City than for them but this is part of the game, once it has happened..the Ref ruleing is final, (pre VAR!!!) If decision makeing takes any longer than necessary then it is questionable keeping in mind from when the play stops not from when the Ref walks over, which can take time, with players surrounding him, All I am saying is, somebody is watching every phase of the game on a monitor, if they have to keep playing it back then there is uncertainty. Getting it right is important but it needs decisive decision makeing. That is where I have a problem….who is right? I am in favour of VAR providing it is used correcttly. Adlab…you are right. The rule makes sense but still has some ambiguity to it. The game has to be careful not to be bogged down into fine edged ruleing, keeping the game flowing is important. The Refs, are trying to do the best they can under constant revisions and now VAR, if you take too much responsibility away from them the game is dead. The key is to lift the standards of Refereeing and that is not as easy as it sounds. I am sure they all try there best, I find the assistants more of a problem than the Ref, with poor decision makeing in the games I watch, without the benifit of TV or after the event comments

City did enough, kept in control. I would have liked a few more goals but 2 and a clean sheet away from home is more than acceptable. Now, the hard work starts over the next 3/4 weeks. Good to see KDB and Fernandinho back as well

Nine…Understand that, a long time ago I looked forward to England matches but time has worn me down, however, I do like a good football match, whatever teams are playing and even when I watch City playing other teams I enjoy the 22 on the pitch and always have done, it is not worth watching any game if you cannot appreciate both teams

If football and a player upset you so much. NB. I would find another interest. Football is not worth getting upset for,asChuky said, players do not play for the shirt anymore fans get ripped off, even Liverpool fans and International breaks are made for Tv and to generate more income

I am not a fan of International football but the England squad, apart from 2/3 players plus the keeper looks as though they could make good progress. The pipeline is in place with more young talent to be drafted in, for me, it is the way forward but I still cannot get excited about it

Apart from Sterling, I thought kane did the leaders job well, we still have no creative talent in midfield. I thought Ali would have fitted that role but he drifts in/out too much, it looked as though he was carrying an injury, which means, he should not have been playing. The lad Sanch is worth watching. I am not confident we have a keeper of stature for WCup we need more than a shot stopper although Pickford is good at that but do not rate his positional play and distribution, this match was not testing enough and we will come against better teams. Walker..like at City..going forward he is a class act but defending he is a mistake waiting to happen. I would also like to see Keane and Stones as the CBs…..Just my view….you cannot be critical of a 5-0 win unless you are Pep!!!!

NB….you are very predictable. let me say City will have good luck and bad luck, that is fact and is no different to any other team be it Liverpool, Utd Chelsea etc, etc as Ed stated “it is part of the game” Get on with it…It is a bit like players arguing with Refs, he is not going to change his mind or can a result be reversed. I have enjoyed your post but they are becoming a little like jumping on a band wagon when a glimmer of question pops up and usualy City’s fault and NO, I am not a blinkered view on City.If that was Liverpools performance at Swansea yesterday you would have held it as a triumph and fully deserved

Sean…I still think 4 titles is beyond them, our substitutes to day proove a point for me, they do not cover adequetly the loss of a first choice player, Delph had a nightmare, Mahrez just cannot finf his confidence and suffers because of his lack of variety in his play. Walker does not inspire me with confidence. Jesus and Sane may well do better next season but they still lack consistency in there play to be a serious No 1 in there spot. They are young though that is why I say next season should be better for them I am sure Pep will strenghten the squad for next season and we will see some departures

Ed…you have divers as well, in fact most teams do This is all about City again as if no other team has any luck at all. This was a good Cup tie everybody thought we should roll in 6/7 goals, When Swansea scored 2 goals I am sure everybody was pleased, they played well and we had a few very poor performances. I would not have complained if Swansea had won despite having backs to the wall throughout the game….it was a Cup tie and anything can happen. Sterling was a soft penalty these are given throughout the season and they are not always Sterlings!!!

Oz,, if you want to win trophy’s you have to win matches. I think most City fans know they have a good squad to cope with the fixtures, however, it does not say they will win them. I am hopeing we can win the league again, I think we are still a step away from CL unless we have all our No 1 players on the pitch and they all play well. The FA Cup is a possibility, but one off games like this are very unpredictable…I like that in Cup games, everybody has a chance
