Nine…I missed both those finals, the first because I was taking some Final exams but the adjudicator kept posting the score on a blackboard in silence!11. I cannot remember reason for second one

Mac….I cannot explain why , maybe it is a generation thing but I never get excited about European games as I do about the Domestic scene. I am probably with the minority on this but as we are aware the CL will evolve, for better or worse, I do not know and then there is the politics of European football. I get more excitement from watching say watching Yeovi v Arsenal or Accrington v Liverpool remember the great match last year, I think Rochdale v Spurs that, to me is football. Respect those that love CL though, just not so interesting for me maybe Real madrid/Barcelona/ Juventus killed it off for me but I really do not have a definitive answer

Nil my personal view is I do not like anything later than a 3.00 k.o. This maybe an “age ” thing now and I rarely attend evening matches. However my biggest hate is the constant changes to dates and k.o to accommodate a TV schedule.. I am getting to a stage now where I refuse to change my itinerary…then clubs moan about empty seats….they need to accommodate the active fans better

Chelsea man…..that may well be the case that teams not affected in a VAR will be happy, however, my view is the system should not have been introduced until they have better technology and management. I can only see increasing problems as much as I like the principle

442….it all makes for a better contest. My pre season prediction has gone wrong because I thought Everton would be up there with leicester but 10 games gone and all to play for.Liverpool and City will loose games, so yes it will be tight at the top until after Christmas when I expect a gap will appear

Mikus….I also seee that VAR will dictate the game and we will see more stoppages, correct or not and what I feared from the start one step away from match fixing. The game should flow as a game. VAR used for goal line decisions only until they can fully present a technology system that does not need humans, or what is the point.I would like to see more and better technology but not like this. We have a problem folks

I thought the City/Villa game was entertaining, spoilt by theRefs performance and VAR delays. This makes the game disruptive when it was flowing well. I thought Augerro was needed a little sooner because we are a little lightweight up front. Final whistle….clean sheet with our “poor” defence, only 9 goals conceded in 10 games..not that bad then, same was said last season and the season before. It is true though I wonder if we have a real defender but then again defenders are not Peps speciality but likes players who can play a system. It does my blood pressure no good when I see them passing the ball around in own penalty area…they are good at it…..until!!!!!

Nine…I maybe wrong with this but my recollections of the issues so far that mistakes are made by the human not the technology, although that needs to be improved as well.I feel that we have gone a step too far too quickly, the principle I accept the execution is questionable therefore not fit for purpose in my view. However, all is not lost if the powers that be sort the decision making a higher quality. It could be said, after all that effort if they had put the same effort into having Super Refs, the no nonsense types it could have been avoided in the first place!!

No point in having technology if it is going to be interpreted by humans….what has changed. It is like smoke and mirrors analogy/ I would like it to work but they must find a way of stopping what is an increasing amount of debatable decisions…..this is not what it is supposed to do.

AS far as another “Cup” I believe this is a case for “More wants more” one day it will fall apart because clubs cannot sustain this at the top level. We have yet to see the World club cup followed be European league, which will include Capetown Warriors but not an English Club!!!!! Sorry my sense of humour

threes…Palace are only a few points behind City and they always cause us problems but I am hoping City will pull themselves together in defence and start scoring again. Unusual for City not to score at home last week but these things happen, move on. City have to get early goals or Palace will do a job on us..again

As the days tick by the action against the Bulgarian team will get less. If ever there was justification for a stiff penalty this was it, my feeling is they will get away with it AGAIN They are effectively out of the competition so will not be bothered I guess and then hope everyone will forgive and forget. Nothing less than a 5yr ban from all Internationals including friendlies
