People try and change different sport games for the £/$ whatever The numbers are unsustainable for the future. It is true, in football we have lost major talent and all that goes with it. I recall the days of Matthews, Lawton, Swift Shackleton. Iranian. I could go on. Fans actually went to watch them and applaud no matter if it was against there own team. Football had to move on and it did but it also brought cravings of Chairman, Directors etc. Ruleing bodies suddenly released they had a golden opportunity to organise, I prefer another word and the the 5 letter word rose to prominence…GREED. Of course it happened in other sports and we have to day the break away Golfers from the PGA. Cricket has become more akin to village green slogs, we have no real test cricketers any more, maybe I should exclude Anderson and Broad but they are now in the twilight zone. Finally, we will loose the EPL at some point in the near future, again , the picture and global revenue,Domestic football will no longer have the clout, it will still go on no doubt but in a much abbreviated way. I have accepted change will come and not for the better because the innocence of the games in all sports left us years ago. I look at my local village football and cricket teams and they are all heavily sponsored (relatively) to demonstrate the point. It never was like that in my long lifetime

The difference between City bottom price and Chelsea top price I bet was not that significant for a player they really wanted!!!!! I have a smile on my face Nine. Adlab..yes I am pleased Ake is staying…for now…Chelsea may have the cash at Christmas though but hope he stays because he wants to, if not…just move on.

ITV news…Been watching a few weeks now, I do not think they do it well and they have some bias as well but not as blatant as BBC. The latest from BBC is from next year they are sharing news with other countries, England at daytime, USA and others in the evening…that I will not watch. The woke people have certainly running them now, about time we withdrew Tax payers money completely if they want to paddle there own canoe

Adlab…as soon as I find a way to replace the BBC I will do so, not even the “NEWS” which I always looked forward to have now switched to ITV and Newsnight…well I no longer wish to listen to or watch political bias They are supposed to be partial but are anything but.

I was also surprised when Utd let him go, I thought he was a Utd type player, whatever that means but some players seem to fit clubs. I think he had a few injuries but nothing that would have downgraded his play.Not the quickest but very few CBs are

Foxy…that is OK with me, we disagree as friends but the fact Chelsea want him and City have been reluctant to let him go he must have something. The times I have watched him, live and on TV, he has done little wrong though I wish him well though

Nine….Rodney Marsh…one of the worst buys we ever made, however, that is his opinion but I think he is off the mark. He will be productive, if not he will soon be bench warmer. I would never have paid £100m for him though but will reflect on that at the end of the season.

Ake has made a couple of mistakes which cost goals but hey…who has not….even Dias, Stones Laporte. and I dare say Van Dyke etc. I am leaving out Phil Jones!!!!!! He is OK and you have to remember he played out of position most of the time. At CB did nothing wrong on the few occasions he was used. Foxy he is a lot better than Evans

Nine…I think Are is very underated. He is still young enough to develop more, never let City down when called upon. I would rather have kept him because I think Laporte will be the next to leave City, Christmas or end of season.. Sterling…good player but his time is up at City, if he goes. OK. if he stays OK but it will be difficult for him to get consistent game time with what we have and the probable re shape for the coming season.

No hardship for me to start wearing masks again Nil, sounds sensible. As to PM…well I do not fancy ANY of the alternatives whoever they are, whatever party and it seems to me we have a bunch of hypocrites,who have spent more time debating a party than actually running the country as they should be doing. Nobody will convince me either that they are blameless during the Covid period…it is just that they were not caught.There just be Parliamentary rule…..what goes on in Parliament serves the country and people not personal agendas and power struggles. They pick up money for title tackle…get some real work done MPs!!!

Nike… get well soon….I have had similar symptoms plus a really bad hacking cough. I did a Covid check and that was OK. I have had 4 jabs to date. Doctor prescribed medication feeling a little better after 5 days of aches and pains. Age is not on my side so getting strength back is my priority now. I have to get better soon because I have just bought a new keyboard!!!!!

The biggest problem we have in our country is Govt. My own opinion on this is, you could line up every single MP and you would be hard pressed to make a half decent team, no matter Con/Lab/Lib etc
There is not one outstanding candidate you would say, here is a person to lead the country. It is sad but true, so we have to settle for less. I certainly do not want to be ruled by Union barons who support to have “there members” wishes at heart, even if they did, they should not be in a position to hold the country to ransom . We just do not have the calibre of person who has the drive, initiative or strong belief in putting the country first. Boris did do wrong and should resign but we must remember he took us through a very difficult time and with all the other actions and incidents he has had to deal with deserves some credit, I shudder to think if Corbyn, Starmer etc would have been in charge where we would have been, be careful what you wish for. They both know how lucky they have been to be in opposition and not having to deal with it.
