I am not going to try and out guess Pep but I think he will start with David Silva, Sterling,and Augerro. CB I would go with Fernandiho and Garcia who I believe to be better than Stones. We may see Bravo in goal as well although I think Pep does want to win this game and will take few chances with selection

OK…I did not release he was in the first team that long but I guess it is this season he has improved the most, as you say, probably the influence of van Dyke has helped

Sean…same as…a luxury which teams can no longer afford to carry unless he was doing something extra special, weekly, I do not see that from him. What a waste It reminds me of Anelka a little but one thing you could say about him was he did work and produce goals and game changing displays

442…he is very good but remember this is really his first season as a regular I think and what he needs now is consistency for the next few seasons then undoubtably he will one of the best players in the world in that position, in my opinion. Of course RM and others will come after him, that is football to day and the player himself may well want a new “challenge” as they saying goes now. For now he is Liverpools player and they have a gem

Oil is a player that I cannot understand. He is a gifted player, he is with a good club, maybe not at there best at the moment but it should be up to him plus a few more that should better for Arsenal. I just get the impression he just waits for his hatcheck to come in…job done.Pity, what a waste of talent

I am sure he will be relieved about that aspect Gi blues, he does make a difference. I know Otemendi is nowhere near as good and make mistakes but you can never fault his his work and effort he makes, this will be his last season with us and I am sure he will want to finish well. CB is probably the most difficult position on the pitch….in Peps style!!!!!….Villa will make sure they have a young fast forward at him on Sunday but he has seen it all before I guess

Villa have absolutely nothing to loose, they cannot go out there with a mindset,,”we will loose” A draw is not going to happen so they need to go out and enjoy the game and give there best…it will then be competitive. City will draft in those that did not play in Madrid Foden/Garcia I hope

Mak…in part I would agree with you but there are more fans complaing about City than City fans moaning about consiparcy. Of course, there are City fans who take this too far even to point where i think they have lost sight of the objective but they still have a right to moan about conspiracy, founded or not, and UEFA. I also suspect this happens at just about every club unless you can show me a perfect club and fans. We have all missed the target here, we should be talking about football not how and who runs the game, we fans, will never control that.

mak…I think City fans have a case for moaning about UEFA, in fact other teams have had similar feelings at some point. Are you saying we do not have that right to raise our objections? I was not tired of the why Liverpool lost to RM and the Ramos incident because I thought Liverpool fans had the right to do so, that went on for some time because the fans felt there was injustice…well same thing for City

g.i blues….much the same friend. Although there was no stand out performance against Leicester I thought it was a really good professional approach to the game, the players looked confident and the work rate is getting back to its best.
I will watch the game on City TV but most likely listen on GMR as well. I do not have to listen to the TV experts then!!!!!!

If I was a Villa player I would look forward to a Final Day and put in serious effort and enjoy the game i am sure that is what there supporters will want. City want to win it and I look forward to a good game. What has happened in the past means nothing to me, lets get on with the game ahead and the occasion.

R.Madrid v City, well we know now, City will not go there to defend and we will have to do some defending but I feel we have the players, to do a job it depends on that first goal though. We do need to score away goal because the return will be equally intense.It will be a good game and should be enjoyable to watch.

Jacksonian…you cannot keep blaming City for all that is wrong. City laid down a 10 year project and it cost a lot of money but included a complete overall of the club, staff and environment, which also included building Academies and Local housing . If we take your and others route for City and ban them, OK, now they have gone….so who is the next wealthy club , so OK ban them…so on we go.
Why does capacity be a good thing? In Chelseas case I believe they have a full house of loyal supporters, may not be 50K but why is that a measure? Utd have a regular capacity of 75K and have won nothing for years but they still turn up, good for them. The capacity argument is a nonsense. It is strange really, City could have spent more at the beginning of the season and the January market but did not. I do think you are right about prices for players does need to be reduced, particularly our domestic potential talent. I would also erase Agents from taking any part in transfers, if the player wants one, then he pays for it privately, nothing to do with the clubs involved. These are the issues more important than who can spend more, the issue would never go away but it would be an improvement for clubs. City can only have the specified squad number and even if they were all top fee, which they are not, it amounts to 25 players? out of say 25000 circa in Europe so plenty of players to go at to get a squad together. Liverpool have done it,Arsenal/Spurs/Utd have failed to do it. It is all a bit of nonsense scenario really but I am just putting forward an opinion that even when the wealthy teams BEFORE the City era why did they not invest better to maintain there position? With all the sponsorship deals struck over they years few can claim they are short of money….I see little coming back to the fans for cheaper seats although City have not been bad in this respect. Humans have ruined the technology but the technology is not fit for purpose either. Rules need to explained in a no nonsense way, (toe nails, thumbs etc mm over does not count) I do not mind technology being brought in to help, particularly goal line technology but offsides..no…that is why we employ lines people or god without the lines people Retrospective fouls don’t think so particularly if brought in 5 minutes later…so what we have been watching counts for nothing!!! Stop the game and sort it within 1 minute!!!
