Mak…I would be very disappointed if City did not give them a guard of honour and show Liverpool the respect they deserve after a magnificent season by any standard. Can they do it twice now, like City? I think next season will be interesting

Mak, that is very true, everyone must be accountable for there actions. I am fortunate enough to have come through an era when fans were great and if I compare to the fans of to day the difference is startling.I wonder sometimes if these irresponsible people are actually interested in the match itself and they go for the conflict. The problem maybe unsolvable now and we will have to live with the consequences. In a funny way, VAR may play a part in defusing some of actions, well, that is when they get it right!!!!

Mikus, I would disagree bad things can never be good but I think one of the key aspects of this is RESPECT, or lack of it Not only do they let themselves, there family and friends but our country as well, so, in my mind, in the case you have cited “true to yourself” shows lack of respect and responsibility. Youngsters who watch such behaviour then think…this is normal and I can do it. Fans need to improve or they will ruin the game because fans that care about the game will stop going. I go to watch a football match with 22 players not to see or hear loutish behaviour. I am no prood but there has to be better behaviour

Bernado got it right….unacceptable…sure they tried but they lacked that surety of pass and move and above all somebody to finish. Maybe a bit churlish since they have scored more goals than anybody else but this has happened more than once. The squad does need to be changed next season and I am sure it will happen, in the meantime we have still to secure second place and two Cups so much to play for

Ed, you capitalised well on Edersons mistakes to day….and City fans would have gone berserk if that had been Bravo. Rashford may have been missed by Utd but the bigger loss was KDB and laporte, however, the team selected should have done better in final third, no excuses. Sterling clearly not ready and should do more training. Otemendi, everybody slates him off but he is the only one we have and always puts in a shift…I know he is not the best in the `Premier but neither the worst
next year, we need a keeper to challenge Ederson, Bravo will be off,2 CBs a decent full back and above all somebody that can put the ball in the net from the chances we create_____________________________

Once again, we give opposition goals, this time Ederson at fault. We need to get our act together before Real madrid and Newcastle in Cup. Foden in wrong position at start, came to life when playing in normal position. I expected City to do much better with the team selected and what was on the bench, changes made too late Pep

Mak…the answer to your question is the media and betting industry. Like you, I said from the start this is still too soon for City but I hope they do well. I think most City fans, certainly what I know, think the same. To win it would be a bonus this year, nothing more but NOT favourites in my opinion. Next year I think will be our year. I also believe the media like to build up a story just to knock it down again, after all, what else is there to say?

My earlier remarks may also be illustrated in that a 19 yr old Foden was MotM playing in a good team which must have had an effect on Grealish as well as the game went on but he never gave up trying, credit him for that but I think all the effort he put in ,he lost some of his creative side

Nine…he will get a few more games until the end of season but Silva will still be first choice until he finishes, not long now. Next season will be Foden season a ready made deputy for our David

Villa put up a fight for a time but I think City’s game plan and changes di the job pep wanted except for the Stones display…I said before…Garcia is a better player and he should have been there, Otemendi needed the rest on the bench but I thought pep would have replaced Stones. Fine display by Foden, he will be great next season. Sterling needs a rest on top of a rest!!!!Come back when you are ready

There is nothing worse for a fan, no matter what team, is when a team performs without interest or drive. I never mind losing a game as long as the effort is there. The result iwas coming I believe and judging from more recent performances already highlighted by some of you. It also comes with the exaggerated media frenzy. This is one defeat!!!! The test will now come in the next game.
