I am trying to drive away all negative thoughts Nine. I think KDB is setting up his final contract with City, that is what it is about, he probably wants to stay, CL or not and his playing days are now more defined so he need to be careful in his choice of how to finish.
The inept performance of UEFA over the Coronavirus 19 is still on going, now they are going to have to take on a major Court case. I still see a fudged compromise before the proceedings take place. A Court appearance for City will cost them but for UEFA it will be more with the distinct possibility they will loose.Eventually UEFA will collapse anyway by reason of its ineptness._____________________________

Adlab,, you are right of course….I would have tended to respond by saying “poorly thought through” but it is not…they did think it through but with only one scenario….get the started It is disgusting I am on the brink of stopping football altogether if they do start too soon. They are irresponsible lunatics and the people making these decisions are probably living in mansions somewhere

It is a sad state of affairs Nine when football takes such priority with the media and entertainment business, they should be ashamed of themselves. Football; clubs have no divine right to survive when there are many other business going to the wall. They have to take there chances like any other business operations. There will be some good companies going out of business and they should be part of it if they cannot find a way to survive. I grieve for them more than football clubs because I see hard working families trying to make a success for themselves.
As to topping the league in deaths, I am not a strong believer in most of the statistics because it is never a level playing field when all the benchmarks to produce figures and probably there is always a possibility many will not be recorded as such, so, for me another meaningless statistic unless you are one of the unfortunate families. I would add, even when the numbers get lower it is noticeable that TV and papers do not see that as some kind of progress because it is taking away there main theme of negativity, The lower figures still represent the worst possible moment for some families though. Concentration and effort must be to Zero, maybe the 200 million for one player and 500k a week should be axed and the money transferred to say research which is much needed_____________________________

KDB is not the agitating type of person, feel sure about that , not one for breaking a contract unless by mutual consent. City will win the appeal anyhow some kind of fudged agreement will be made before the due date

Nine..OK thanks. I went on facebook for a month about 6/7 years ago but found it not for my liking so unsubscribed. However they say I have been unsubscribed but retained my details, I am still trying to get them back but I guess that what the protracted case in the USA was about.

I blame the virus on VAR. The adjudicators sitting around the table create there own toxic atmosphere and when the Ref re enters he is carrying the virus to all, yes, without doubt…VAR fault

Mav..if Pogba arrives at City I may well give up my ticket now. he cannot improve what we have and with the youngsters developing fast just not worth considering. Good in patches but Pep will want more than that and Pogba will not keep up with Peps instructions

I think KDB is a pragmatic guy, it will not be the money that moves him and I doubt it will be CL because what is important to him is playing in settled surroundings which he likes and there is an ingredient like Silva, Augerro Kompany found playing for City, they look after players well. However, in saying that the temptation is there and for a Cup that will have less value in a few years, overtaken by a Global Club World Cup Change is coming and players are aware of that. I hope KDB stays but if not others will appear and I will wish him well and thank him for some great matches I have seen him play. The wheel keeps turning no matter what

One thing I have noticed more on this forum in recent times is that there is an improved camaraderie over say 12 months ago. people have time to see others view now, as it should be. It is always about opinion and I always respect opinions unless it gets too personal The genuine feelings and support are real though and you should all be proud of that and continue to make this the best forum to be on. I am NOT a preacher but feel I would like to make how I feel known
As to football, it will be back, I stick to my early forecast and say January 2021 I just cannot see the risk to public going away before then If it does, I will be more worried of the outcome.
The money people will be working away frantically over a secret lunch somewhere , probably Davos, they have a lot of high priced rooms ready at the moment!!!!_____________________________

pagan…nice thought about Nil.. I know his comments raised a few hackles but as you say, he was part of the forum. My only thought would be , do we loose others because of it. I have no problem with it providing lessons have been learned as to why the ban took place, Nil has to understand that or we undermine the Editor, that should not happen

Pagan..re your earlier post re neutral venues….to true….but this shows how inept are FA are, they just do not think things through unless it has a solution kicking off next saturday….Money driven.. If they go bust, so be it, somebody will have another framework set up next day Have no time for FA or Players Union management. If I was a footballer right now I would be asking any club or FA what the risks are, clearly, people are still getting infections, clearly people continue to die. DO NOT show me a graph on a chart showing a gradual fall. Show them a picture of your family and ask them to guarantee there future. No amount of money would get me to play and if you threatened me I would take up the legal challenge and no doubt there would be others If I was a footballer
Being scared I would could consider being scared, a normal reaction to something that is avoidable_____________________________
