De Bruyne dived like that to make it look dramatic but as any idiot can see there was clear contact and that’s why they gave the penalty. It was a 100% definite. Blame the players that are so stupid to always give away penalties at such vital times or at any time for that matter. It’s always hard to take when your rivals win it at the last minute. Don’t show your envy, take it with a bit of class after all how many times didn’t your teams win controversially in the last moments.

Penalties should be banned, if it’s a foul in the box with a definite goal scoring opportunity you give the goal like they do in rugby, if it’s a foul but not a goal scoring opportunity you give a free kick from where it happened or if too close take it back 10 yards. Also red cards a reserve should be allowed on after 10 minutes, the player must get punished with a stiff suspension but it becomes an unfair game if a team is reduced to 10 players.

Selecting Toney and Chillwill then sending them back home again makes no sense. May as well not select those additional 5 players. By the way we rather have a competitive competition like this one than

Why select Maguire and Dier when you have younger and better centre halves available. Southgate never makes sense, he got lucky to make the Euro finals and that’s about the best it’s going to get while his in charge. Good start for City with all the top contenders dropping points, Arsenal will go on good runs and bad runs, they don’t have the players to maintain a challenge to the end. Must say the Spurs-Chelsea game was a pulsating affair. Too bad both managers are going to get at least a 2 games suspension. Not going to help their teams.

West Ham away a very tough game nowadays but any kind of win will do. A win in the first game is important. Spurs looking good, Chelsea not but had a stronger team on the bench. Liverpool draw was a fair result. Fulham walked the Championship so that tells you something.
