Uefa will try anything to get their greedy paws on more money, they need to be carefull cause eventually you fall over your own sword as so many of them in eufa and fifa have recently discovered.

This whole sordid affair has been badly handled from the moment the ref blew his whistle at the start of the game and even Southgates mismanagement of the latest incident. Think as suggested by the editor it’s time to close this thread down. Good thing there’s international football this week.

Amazing news coming from the England camp Sterling has been withdrawn due to serious arguments with Gomez think he plays for Liverpool still ongoing. For that to happen their must have been some kind of physical contact. City obviously believe they have been wronged. Its is not repetitive posting but a totally new angle on this debacle.

My take on this matter is that Liverpool fans cannot justify that incident as it should have been blown up for handball probably in their favour first which would have stopped the game thereby denying them that early killer goal, you canmot allow 2 handballs in the box and in the same action to go un checked, I would also say though I love watching City play there’s no problem at all if Liverpool win the league they are due after all. Anyway I think let’s lay this to rest now.

Once again here the VAR system is not at fault but the officials who are simply not intelligent enough to use the system correctly. Firstly the ref should have blown immediately and then with the help of VAR make the correct decision, however I don’t think you can call back the play after a goal was then scored in the opposite box, it’s going to kill the game, our officials were never good enough and VAR has exposed them even further.

Klopp has admitted that Pep is the best manager in the world and I would say probably of all time though of course like players it is a bit difficult to compare different eras.

Condolences to Spurs and Gomes, I had a similar injury many years ago but nowhere near as bad as that and I can honestly say it was extremely painful so imagine what that poor guy felt. You cannot help screaming in agony.

CM I don’t know if exonerating the club is the reason cause we are guilty as sure as we are still living. A list of misdemeanours that long can’t be all fabricated. Also the reason why Emanalo left. I think they intend buy in January though I’m not sure for what position as we seem to have suitable cover everywhere. I don’t think it’s necesarry either unless we intend to challenge Liverpool and City then it is, but who would they be able to get that could make that difference?

Apparently Bayetn Munich are interested in Potch who I think is a very good manager, most if not all managers have a bad run sometimes short sometimes long, Mourinho is a classic example he goes into free fall normally in his 3rd year at clubs.

Obviously it’s a red card while we know Son isn’t that type of player and he didn’t expect that to happen it is still a bad trip as such from behind with dire consequences so in this case the officials are justified in changing if to a red.

Yes my relatives were mad on Cream and so did I become a big fan. Their music was way ahead of their time, pity they only produced a couple of albums.

I don’t watch Liverpool much but from what I can gather they had a few last minute winning goals and penalties as well and also on the dubious side, remember there’s been many cases where officials are still with the help of technology getting it wrong, so in that sense you can say they been somewhat lucky but why worry all sides that are topping a league are mostly lucky. Just the way it goes.

Why you saying VAR want overrule the ref when it’s happened several times already?

Lampard can thank his subs who should have started today, the likes of Hudson, Willian, Abraham and Mount cannot start every game, they end up losing their finnesse like they did today. It was a vital win in any event.

VAR is a definite necessity there were far too many mistakes by the officials, I understand that even with VAR now there are still mistakes like recently but it’s very very few errors compared to before VAR, the other issue where celebrations are dulled in case the goal may be ruled out is a very minor issue. So the pros far outweigh the cons.

I still prefer to watch City play by far than any other team except of course Chelsea which is my team play well or bad, City just have that free flowing football we all love to watch. It’s okay if Liverpool win the league as they have not won it for some time but as far as watching is concerned City is the team.

By the way Augero was due to come to Chelsea Mourinho was not interested, as for centre halves there does currently appear to be a shortage of decent centre halves. Not sure why.

Can’t understand Spurs too much cause if you look at the side it’s a top class team even though at the back you have a couple of overated players who I assume have now been found out, while an average player like Dier can never make a difference for this type of implosion, I feel a bit for Spurs fans as most of them are decent lot.

I don’t think that was a penalty even though I wanted Liverpool to win as Leicester is a threat to our top 4 chances, if you look closely it was a very good theatrical dive with hardly any contact if any but he managed to fool the ref and it seems most of us.
