I actually thought it was bad defending from Mings, looked he was trying to control it with his knee I think. Remember a few years back an attacker was also offside run back and headed it out the keepers hands and then scored. Basically it boils down to a lack of awareness.

So sorry Sean thought you were serious, didn’t realize you were teasing the guy but nevertheless let’s not argue over it as it was a real great game to treasure. There’s too many controversial offside decisions in football so moments like that should not be added to yet another offside goal. Same as if an attackers nose or any irrelevant part of his body is captured as offside the goal should stand.

Sean you clearly don’t understand the rules, the City player only became active when he got involved in the play and by that time an Aston Villa player had touched the ball he was not in an offside position. It was 100% correct decision but it’s tough on Villa cause both teams have been brilliant and what an enjoyable game of football.

I basically resigned myself to the fact that like the flu we all bound to get it at some point in time, they even talking about a 3rd and 4th wave, we can’t be lucky forever so imo it’s unavoidable unless the vaccine comes fast and assuming it actually will work. Strange this forum also starting to become as quiet as TT, besides Moos telling everyone what a great player he is or was not too much discusions. Hope this cursed virus is not getting on top of us. Yes I suppose managers are entitled to select whatever team they deem to be right, unfortunately Klopp was wrong in the past by selecting weaker teams for this competition and strangely enough he did the very opposite yesterday when in fact he should have done that what he did previously. However tbe FA is largely to blame for this riduclous rules that the games must go ahead with much weakened teams, they didn’t go ahead last season when the far less severe virus strain was running loose.
