Haha too true, Palace have lost there first five games and not scored a goal. In years gone by you could bank on them breaking their duck at ours. Lol. But things have changed a bit in recent times.

Yes very good point Surrey Blue. But I still want us to play 2 upfront. Perhaps sub Jesus KDB and Aguero if we get a couple of goals up?

Selling Alex Ox Chamberlain for 35-40m has to be the best bit of business. At least Costa was/is a match winner!

Personally I am pleased to see Costa the caveman leave the PL. Scored goals yes so I can see why Chelsea fans liked him. But I thought he was just a dirty niggling fouling whinging type player. But ed you are right £50m for a player that is so desparate to leave he has gone on strike. Blindingly good dealings by Chelsea.

Haha, yes beating Pulis and his usual team of antifootballers is always a pleasure. I dont think he has never forgiven us for the Wembley play off defeat lol

Wolves at home that will do!

Bristol City at home would be nice, but watch us get Chelsea away. Sounds like that Pulis told his players to kick ours off the pitch and did a deal with the Ref to book ours every time for daring to challenge for the ball.

Annoyingly Delph and Yaya both get starts ahead of Foden. Not one youngster in the starting line up. Four on bench.

Hi Brian, I know what you are saying regarding Sterling, I can see both sides to him. On one hand I like the fact that he runs at defenders and gets into very dangerous areas. He’s probably our most effective player at this. Clearly where he needs to improve is his final ball and his finishing, that said his contribution to the team is still very good. The problem he has is partly of his own making as because he gets into such good positions everyone thinks he should be converting more chances. Which is true to an extent. Also he is playing with some really great passes of the ball in KDB and Silva who really make a stray pass. This just highlights the area sterling’s needs to improve in. For me he is well worth his place in the side and will only get better under Pep as you point out. Cheers Jim. 0-2 to City tonight.

We are actually all one species, Homo Sapiens, the very slight differences in our physical appearance are the result of slight changes in our genes, due to slight mixes in DNA, where we have lived geographically and climatically in recent times ie circa 10,000yrs and diet.
That aside I have to agree with Hightown the song is shite.

Surprised at the Leicester vs Liverpool result. It seems Liverpool need to start putting away their chances. I am sure it will click soon.

Obviously just more to just being very fit to be even reasonable at boxing ED. It’s not something you can just pick up and go straight into as a 38yr old. Fair chance he will fight complete bums and then get hurt when he comes across someone decent or get hurt straight away. Silly decision, stick to what you know get your coaching badges in football.

Good call with Sterling upfront Brian. I’m not sure Yaya is fit, I have rumours he is carrying too much weight, hence he has not even been on the bench the last few games. Vinny should start if fit obviously, as with Gundowan. I Would also rest the front 2, Silva and KDB. Will be interesting to see who he starts with.

I hope Foden gets some minutes tomorrow night vs the baggies. If he doesn’t then that will say a lot about Peps plans to give our young players a go. Wonder who will start up front.

That’s the problem he’s going to have. Time is on his side but the lure of possible first team football elsewhere will be a big one. PS Good to discuss things football with you again Sean as you know your stuff!

So a straight red for Sideshow Bob. Which presumably means he misses our game. Which is good news for City as he always seems to either play well or just messes up our game plan. For me he is a bloody awkward player in the mould of Fellaini and Adams who all seem to get away with lots of little niggling fouls every game.
