Pretty unpleasant stuff. Imo sections of Spanish society are decades behind the UK when it comes to tackling antisemitism and racial inequality.

So nine, how do you think he will set up at OT against City in December. Ed thinks he will go for it. I think there will be pressure on him to play football. Fergusson certainly would have.

Simply awesome. Best I have ever seen City play. It’s a real previlage to watch KDB at the moment. I knew his passes and assists were special yesterday but just didn’t appreciate them fully until I saw MOTD. I’ve now watched the highlights five times lol.

Fair assessment ed, without a doubt hes very successful. And i know doesn’t always do it, unless he definitely doesn’t want to risk losing, Like yesterday. I wasn’t knocking his record or achievements. The point I was making is that I think he would be happy with a draw against City like he was against Liverpool yesterday. He looks at the bigger picture and the season as a whole. Not just one game. If you play attacking football and give KDB and Silva space City currently are very capable of beating anyone. Personally I think Mouriniho will play defensively, he will settle for a draw rather than losing 3pts. If he sets united out to go toe to toe with City I will be more than happy.
Ps where are the united fans on footy debate?

Brian, in all your years of supporting City how did yesterday’s performance compare? Cheers Jim

Delph was superb again yesterday. Those cross field balls he pinged about were sublime.

A long long way to go imo. Nothing is guaranteed. Stoke had some defensive problems and came up against a City side in full flow. That won’t happen every game. However what I will say is if an opposition side comes to play football and leaves some gaps. City will exploit those gaps and probably win the game. What a player KDB is, a few weeks back i was getting some gentle stick on here for suggesting he was better than Hazard. Ive seen nothing since then to change my mind. Jim

Guys you will have to excuse my defence of Aguero, put simply he gave me one of the most special moments in my life. Something I did not think I would ever see. My Marriage and the birth of my children are both very very closely followed by 93:20. If Kane does that for you guys you will rightly place him on a pedestal. If City don’t win it again in the next few years I hope you guys do. Cheers Jim

Premier league Banjo. Kun a goal every 108mins Kane 119mins. As of the end of September 2017. Small point but the issue was to do with maverick who said Aguero could be easily replaced. I just don’t think so.
But both are fantastic players, albeit slightly different.

Easy replace Aguero. With who? Who else scores goals like he does ? The only person who comes close to Agueros goals per minute ration is Kane. He’s the best there is and has ever been at sticking the ball in the net in the PL.

Maverick tbh I don’t see any difference. Five years difference in age give a month I have just checked. But as Brian says what has age got to do with it. Aguero is being constantly linked with other clubs. The same as Kane. Aguero is just as important to us as Kane is to Spurs. Fwiw I don’t see Kane going to United certainly not under Mouriniho as he ijsut isnt as attacking as Pep or more importantly for united Fergusson as he plays one up front and also has Rashford and Martial on top of his main Striker Lukaku. Can’t see Kane playing second fiddle. Just paper talk. Jim

Paxton, I honestly hadnt noticed that but I’m not a Spurs fan. Clearly what is said on this forum makes no difference to Spurs or Kane. He is a great player and FWIW I hope he stays at Spurs. City won’t be interested in him as he isn’t 5-7 tall! Lol. Doesn’t fit Peps style of play.

Paxton, do you actually think there is a media campaign targeting Spurs. I could say the same about City. Every week there is an article about Aguero leaving us. And the media talk about Sterling going to Arsenal almost as if it’s a done deal despite the club openly stating that Sterling is going nowhere. Jim

Nine, I have to agree. It’s only since City have been able to pay top earnings and compete at the highest level that we have been able to buy and hold on to our best players. Common sense really. Look at Arsenal not really competing on either front anymore and their best players have left for the last few seasons.
