Not my cup of tea either but I guess some tourist fans and possibly fans in Europe like them. Each to their own I supose. I don’t recall seeing so many sold outside the ground a few years back as nowadays. But I guess we have more of those fans?

Like Ed, I wasn’t really massively into football when I was young, I would follow England games, watch the FA Cup obviously and went to a few matches at Highbury and Portsmouth in the mid eighties with mates who were Pompey and Gunners fans. I was into climbing then a big fall curtailed things and around the same time my sister married a blue and he took me the Maine Road in early 88 It was a cup game Portsmouth or Plymouth to be honest I can’t remember much about the game apart from it was bloody cold. But I was hooked. Been a season ticket holder for about 20yrs. Football tends to dominate my life now and certainly my moods. My kids are now all blues and mad about City. So all in all I’m a realitive youngster HH.

I read his comments this evening. And to be honest although Barton is not shy of controversey I did wonder if he and Unsworth had some history. They seemed unwarranted. Mind you he struggles to say anything meaningful for more than 5mins. Just disappointed he appears as a pundit on Talksport, surely they could easily have found someone more knowledgeable and less offensive. Trevor Sinclair??

Rightly or wrongly I suspect the Spanish state will bring Catalonia into line by economic sanctions and threats. Completely the reverse of what Cameron did to the Scots where he bribed them with even more money and benefits including RN shipyards to stay to the detriment of the rest of the UK. When surveys indicated that if all the UK had a vote on Scottish Independence we would have voted them out. Unlike Spain where I understand the Spanish majority want Catalonia to stay part of Spain.

Fair enough Fergie time. I supose I was thinking of the Huddersfield and Liverpool games. And saw a stat that indicated you were not very attacking in the first half yesterday. Would you say it’s as attacking under Mouriniho as it was under Fergusson?

Well Nil let me explain as you appear to have been living in a cave the past three months. United are playing quite alot of boring some would call ot negative football which is not how they played under Fergusson and City on the other hand are playing exciting attacking football and tearing up the record books nearly every week. Alan Shearer even decribed it as game changing as he has seen nothing like it before.

Foden needs to be given some game time in the cups. And off the bench in PL games when we have the pts in the bag. Pep had a chance to do the latter earlier in the season, but chose not to. Not sure why. The lad looks great. If you are good enough you are old enough.

James McLean appears to have not moved on from the troubles like Maguiness and Paisley. He knows the controversey he caused by not wearing a poppy. Happy to have a little petty dig at those who died for his freedom while still earning his living in the country that he clearly still resents. Personally if i were the chairman of West Brom I wouldn’t employ such a person.
