Spurs have had their blip and are still well in touch, I think they will move back into the top 4 when they get Alderwield back and if Kane keeps fit. Don’t think Arsenal will especially if they lose Sanchez in Jan. United must be favourites to also secure a top four finish as long as Mouriniho does not lose the plot. So it’s a toss up between Liverpool and Chelsea. To be honest I have no idea as the places change so frequently. It would be a brave or more likely stupid man who put big money on a top four sequence.

Can I just add that there were reports of some United fans applauding Pep at the end of the derby. That seems pretty unthinkable but if true I can see that that would really rile Mouriniho with his ego. Hence his possible confrontation. Thw words that some are reporting is that he shouted ‘show some f***ing respect’

Can I just add, that I cam see where Ed is coming from for Klopp and Pep but I don’t think either of them is in the same league as Jose. Klopp is very charismatic and likeable. But I am not sure he realised the task, expectation and pressure he has taken on at Anfield and the pressure of the PL.

Haha, interesting stuff reading the responses above.
Here are mine:
1. Mouriniho. As above, becoming a boring parody of himself.
2. Milner, to my mind he lied about the reasons for leaving City, constant little digs about City since leaving, about wanting to play more football and win more trophies, Liverpool were a better side, over the top celebrations when he scored against us. bla bla bla. In the end he refused a new contract for a £10m signing on fee at Liverpool, Fair enough money was your reason but don’t be knob about it. Hes a good player but not as good as he thinks he is! Was clearly not good enough to hold the midfield role ahead of David Silva and Yaya when he was with us. Now he cant tie down a first yeam place and is finding out he is second or third best in that role at Liverpool in his ‘preferred’ midfield role to Coutinio fair enough, but Henderson!! lol that must hurt. Thats why he gets booed by City fans.
3. Moyes, never forgiven him for his rant against City over the Lescott transfer. So pleased when Hughes said put up or shut up. He did the later. Massively overated as a manager.
4. Felaini. Horrible player, seems to get away with endless little fouls and elbows during a game. Almost thuggish and has gotten away with 2 very dubious ‘accidental’ spitting incidents with Aguero and Zabba while both were on the floor.
5. Pulis. Can’t stand this fella. Awful football, I truly believe he has told his players to kick opponents off the park at times. Never complimentary about us, only ever seemed to just mention money spent, the recent win at West Brom being the exception. Had his nose so far up Fergusson’s arse that when Darren fergusson lost his job at PNE, not only did United recall their loan players at PNE but so did Stoke following a call from Fergusson.

Nil, you get my point though don’t you. You are making judgements on paper talk without knowing any of the facts. I am not condoning anybody throwing anything but clearly someone instigated the mellee. I wonder why and who that could have been?
If you want to show respect to opponents perhaps you shouldn’t accuse them of diving, doing nasty tackles and having favourable treatment from officials in the media before the game.

Have to agree with Paxton, not convinced it was a pen but sometimes they get given. But you definitely need your most creative player on the pitch to break down a well organised defence. Said it before but imo Henderson is simply not good enough for Liverpool. He hardly ever passes forward when I see him play.

Henry Winter the sports writer for the Telegraph said whatever the result on Sunday Mouriniho will ensure the headlines are all about him on Monday morning. No surprise there. It’s simple, don’t go into the away dressing room when the opposition have won and complain about diving if you don’t want to get hassle. Unless you want the attention of course.

Hi Brian, yes I agree we have played better but not by much. Don’t think the scoreline was a fair representation of our dominance. Was worried by Oliver when he booked Walker on 3mins for a soft challenge but overall I thought he had a very good game. He missed the Pen on Otamendi and he should probably have booked Jesus for that dive. But perhaps there was some contact. Having seen it a couple of times I am unsure tbh. But overall he let the game flow. Surprised by United and the way they played. I thought they would be more attack minded but Lukaku was so isolated up front. Herrera flatters to deceive and doesn’t seem to contribute much. I would have been more concerned if Felaini was in midfield.
