I would go with GJblues team. But think he might start with Jesus upfront. Think we will win comfortably, I don’t think the Geordie hoardes will allow Newcastle to sit deep. Nil, good evening fella. It was me that mentioned the relegation thing in a previous thread. Not to wish relegation on Liverpool FC, just that at the time you seemed so down about a couple of poor results and I was trying to remind you that your life as football fan could be so much worse. Like nine sometimes I misunderstand your posts but clearly you are a passionate fan. If I annoyed you with that reminder I apologise, football is just that, a game and despite all that passion displayed by so many it is not the be all and end all. I am as guilty as you when it comes to defending the club I support and will clealry still rise to baiting despite best endeavours not to. Also apologies Beni for the swearing outburst yesterday i had had a few! So in essence best of wishes to you and your family Nil. By the way I have just had a sobering and very enjoyable 2hrs at my local sharing a few beers with a 91yr old fella and another mate. He is a big sports fan of cricket and football (stoke) with a clear and very accurate memory. He first drank in my pub 72 yrs ago! His wife sadly passed away 6 yrs ago. Life’s too short even if you live to your 90s. All the best to the the rest of the lads on here in this season of goodwill. Cheers Jim

I’ve chatted to Andy Morrison in City Square, and agree he’s a really nice fella. I firmly believe players like him, Uwe, Dicky, Goater and Dunne to name a few have a real affinity with the club and its fans. They went through the low points as well as the highs.

Nine, there must be a very good chance DeGea will leave in the summer when Madrid come knocking again. He will be hard to replace. Who else will come that would significantly improve them with his one up front style of football. The world’s best players won’t come to United under such a negative coach imo. This has already been proved. The players they attract are second rank players hich is fine if Mouriniho was good enough to improved them. But he isnt. I think hes a busted flush.

Nine I honestly can’t see Mouriniho winning the PL while Pep stays. His archaic football has been surpassed by others, not just Pep. It’s only United’s spending power and David De Gea that has kept them just ahead of the rest of the chasing pack. The good news is City are opening contract talks with Guardiola in NY and are confident he will sign. But I sincerely hope mouriniho stays at United as he undoubtedly damaging the image of the club on an almost weekly basis!
