Back in the nineties when City were really shite. A mate told me that his son, who was about nine yrs old I think? had asked him if he could support another team as following City wasn’t enjoyable as we always lost. My mate tried to explain that winning wasn’t everything but if he insisted he told his son that he could have a second team as long as it wasn’t United. So he followed Liverpool aswell, but my mate suspected that his son told all his friends that he was a Liverpool fan, then shortly after we won the play off final and things started to improve! I’ve lost touch with them as a family but I suspect he doesn’t follow Liverpool these days. ?

Dissapointed if we didn’t pick up all three points given how open at the back Liverpool are. Also Coutiniho has now departed. Mingolet isn’t great either. VVD will make a difference but not sure he alone will sort everything out. Alot depends on whether David Silva plays. Here’s hoping we don’t pick up any injuries tomorrow. Should be a cracking game for neutrals.

Tbh I am not too bothered whether they are or arnt. Nil posted something similar a few days ago about what clubs should be in the Premiership, there are several historical big clubs that have a claim??for being in the PL. Leeds, Sheffield Wed, Sunderland, Villa, Forrest and yes for me Wolves are in that group. I supose given a choice I would rather see City play a Leeds or Villa than a Bournmouth or Brighton as for me the latter are hardly hotbeds of football. But they are there on merit and that’s the way it should be. So if Wolves make it good for them.

What’s an Asshat? I can kind of guess what it means but I’ve never heard of it. Secondly not quite sure why Wiseman has commited harikari? His posts didnt seem that bad to me? Who doesn’t dislike Mouriniho! And more to the point who cares if someone else dislikes him and says so? I am pretty sure Mouriniho couldnt care less. Nil dislikes Pep, so what it’s his choice. I dislike Moyes, Pulis and Mouriniho does it matter, no at all. Seems a shame to lose a poster, but perhaps I was missing something? Jim

Mak, I would be very very surprised if we bid anywhere near 75 for VVD. And when asked if City were interested or had bid for him Guardiola was adamant we hadn’t. Out of interest what evidence do you have that we did and VVD turned is down as you state. Cheers Jim
