Hightown, I understand your concerns but I am all in favour of it. I also agree with Paxtons point about a time limit. Also look at the revelation/ admission by the Romanian ref over his awful decision in the WC play off that knocked out NI. Also remember Henry’s handball against ROI? Terrible decisions that cost many people their dreams! These things should not happen and they are not balanced out imo.

Agree Sean, it could easily go either way. For City alot depends on whether David Silva plays, when he plays we are much more affective up front imo. We are due a win at Anfield, and with this side and current form, we have our best chance in decades. But nothing is a certainty and that’s football. ☺

Hightown, so if you get a decision go against you guys on Sunday that on video replay would have been overturned and that costs you three points and you then miss out on that top four spot come May by two points. And that then costs LFC circa £40m in lost revenue!? Would you still think VAR is a bad idea? To be fair, I did say something along the lines of I will be dissapointed if we dont come away from Anfield with all three points! But I’m a City fan, we are playing well and im optimistic by nature and Christ we are due a win at the bloody place! Anelka in what 2003 was the last time. Got to be our worst ground for results by far. To be honest I will be totally pi$$ed off if Bloody Liverpool end our unbeaten run on Sunday.

Crazy rule if you ask me. We should be doing all we can to encourage applicants from all walks of society and all ethnicities. But the appointment should be on merit only imo. I’m not a fan of positive discrimination for any jobs. Surely we want to all live in a meritocracy where all jobs are awarded on merit. Not which public school you went to, which person owes you a favour or who you know. But clearly this would cause huge issues for politicians and is obviously wishful thinking! Lol

Adlab, there will always be a desire to see the top dog knocked off their perch. Not sure I’ve got that analogy quite right lol. At the moment City are that dog. It’s only natural that the press and pundits want the underdog to win. That said i think this game against Liverpool will be by far our hardest game to date. Liverpool might be underdogs but only just. Wonder what the odds are??

No I didn’t Ian. Clearly it wasnt accurate lol. Normally we buy online and pick our seats for cup games if I can’t get our ST seats. But this was the first time I have had that problem. Attendance was 43k odd tonight. So 10000 short. Not great for a cup semi.

FFS, Mangala and Stones!! Definitely a pen but that was the only decision The Altrincham fan (from a family of reds lol) Taylor got right on the first half. He always screws us over. As suspected Yaya is getting overun in midfield. No one upfront can pick a final pass or take a shot. Pep needs to kick some arses.
As regards attendance I can’t believe that many people were on the cup scheme and can’t be arsed to turn up. I do know the website said it was sold out last week. Sure it’s a struggle transport wise to get to a midweek game especially if you live miles away. But that is poor.

Sold out everywhere Beni. What annoys me tho is that some people who are on the cup scheme would have bought their tickets automatically but won’t bother turning up. I often leave it late and miss my window to buy my seats and have to get seats in other parts of the ground which i dont mind as we sit low down in tier 1 north normally so i choose to sit in tier 2 on the sides for a better view but not this time.

Im not in the cup scheme and am now pi$$ed off as completely forgot the date for the game and when I went and tried to get a ticket early last week it had sold out. Bummer
