Well played Liverpool, congratulations to all the Liverpool fans on here. I always thought we would struggle in the game without David Silva and we did. Gundog is much slower in his passing and build up play. For long periods we created nothing, combine that with silly mistakes at the back and poor passing and this Liverpool team were always going to capitalise. Gutted but we move on. Jim.

Citys passing has been poor, expect it to improve second half. Get Merlin on for Gundog, hes just so much quicker. Thought both keepers at fault for goals but Carrius more so. Who do you want to win Alfie? Or is it a case of you wanting one team to lose more?

Don’t really like watching City on the telly, I get so bloody nervous and stressed even with the side we have now. Much prefer watching them live. This is a big game but I have to keep telling myself it’s not the end of the world if we lose. Loren and Matip at the back for liverpool. Shame Henderson isnt starting. Wonder where James Milner is these days, the player who left us for trophies and to play in his preferred postion. I Didn’t realise that was on the bench. Comon City!

John Cross reporting that United have agreed a 30m deal with Arsenal. A 10m agents fee and Sanchez will be on 400k a week!. Great player but no way should we be signing him on those figures at 29yrs old aswell. lol. Would risk upseting the wage structure. Enjoy the bus parking and hoof ball Sanchez. Nil, What do you think City fans were thinking as our club was fighting relegations and mediocrity while Liverpool were hoovering up title after title in the 70s and 80s. And then we had to watch United win everything under Fergusson. You have such a blinkered one dimensional self entitled view of football my friend.

Spot on Hightown and great to hear your views Brian. He just appeared pleased to talk about the game. Definitely a modest man from a different era than today’s prima donnas. No doubt all teams were filled with players like that. Down to earth, someone that the everyday working bloke could and did relate to. He reminded me very much of my Dad, he was never famous but he was was a hero to me in so many ways. Tommy Lawrence’s interview just made me smile.

Sean, David Silva has been taking time off and missing games to see his new baby which was born very prematurely when him and his Mrs went back to Spain. He’s been playing some of the more important games. So hopefully he will play tomorrow, but clearly no City fans will be anoyed if he doesn’t play. Sonethings are clearly more important, add to the fact that the guy is a legend and we as fans owe him so much.
