I think only one PL club could possibly afford Sanchez. City pulled out remember.

Thought Bristol put in a decent performance Nine. Much better than Newcastle at the weekend just gone.

Bristol put in a decent performance. Much more expansive football than Newcastle!

Nice dive by Bobbie Reid there getting Fernandinio a yellow. He did something similar in the first leg did he not?Seriously can’t believe Bristol City fans booing KDB and Aguero!. Better sticking to the oval ball.

Well they played well last time Adlab. Right decision to my mind. I am just surprised there isn’t a couple of academy lads on the bench so we could rest two or three players if we get an early lead of a couple of goals.

Have to agree PPT, that’s a really strong line up. Only ourselves to blame if we dont go through. Little bit surprised that there is no Diaz on the bench so that Aguero coukd be rested if we got a couple of early goals? Comon City.

Adlab, because we are currently top of the pile and there to be shot at. It really shows how far we have come when it’s major news that we lose a game and our record breaking winning run comes to an end. Take the positives out of it. As Beni said he considers it dare I say typical Liverpool a poor loss to a team they should beat after a big win. Ie He isn’t surprised. Also I have heard pundits criticising Liverpool this morning and Klopp tactics. So it’s not all sweetness and light so to speak. Jim

I have no idea what players are worth these days Chucky. If Evans is worth 30m who to say he isn’t worth 75m. He looked a little clumsy tonight to me. But as the old adage goes you are worth what anyone will pay for you. The united fan at work told me Lukaku was 75m plus 15m add ons and Rooney thrown in at 10m is he worth £100m not to my mind? But I didn’t think Stones and Sterling and Walker were circa 50m each. It’s all crazy stuff. What on earth are KDB, Hazzard and Kane worth these days. You certainly wouldnt accept less than £150m for any of them. Salah and Pogba are not far behind. Thru that last one in for you Ed!? football has gine mad. And I refuse to buy chips and pies at the ground because they are too expensive and served by bloody mongs ! That’s my cost issue with football these days.

Brian. Swansea defended in depth with five across the back and Liverpool couldn’t find a way through. Dick Van Dyke got an assist for Swanseas goal heading the ball into the Swansea attackers. Liverpool then created very little and didn’t really test flappyhandski. But had a golden chance in the dying seconds and Firmino headed onto the post and Lalana put the rebound over from six yards or so. Vital three points for Swansea. They defended very well.

Not worth 75m on that showing. Gave the ball away at times and a really poor header attempted clearance for the goal. But early days and as we know mistakes cost games ala last Sunday.
