Firminiho goes down easier than Sterling that’s for sure. Lucky not to get booked. However Smalling’s dive was really bad lol. That should have been his second caution after the pen he gave away and Pawson let him off.

That makes it a really tight scrap for the top four between Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and United. Arsenal have blown it I think. Each team seems to lose or draw a couple of games then go on a winning run. Ps have Liverpool played in that away strip before? It’s pretty full on isn’t it. ?

Yes good game. Tbh I was quite impressed with the skill on display but not as quick or physical. City were much better than Liverpool in all areas. Pretty Good atmosphere with 2356 fans. Bitterly cold day.

Yes at the minihad across Alan Turing way Hightown. No pagan the eldest did and she has seen the women’s a few times. But they have been season ticket holders at the Etihad for several seasons and love watching the men’s.

Just watched MOTD and sky game. At a game sometimes you just don’t realise how good a pass is. KDBs assists for Sterling and Agueros first are stupidly good. IMO hardly anyone else plays two assists like this in a season let alone one game. But then its everygame! Rednap is right his ability to see a play a pass is unreal. Simply an amazing player.

Couple of quick observations on Spurs and Chelsea’s squads and their worth. Firstly they might only be a point above Spurs at the moment but Chelsea won the PL last season. And in the last 10 years or so I don’t think any team has won as much as them. They have won everything. It’s probably fair to say that given a choice 99% of Spurs fans would jump at the chance of winning half that ammount of trophies regardless of the cost of the players transfers etc, ie when it’s your team that is benefiting you don’t give a rat’s arse where the money is from! Secondly regardless of what Conte signed up to there is a common denominator with the any manager falling out with Chelsea and that is the owner. He has little patience and Its either his way or the highway hence the high turnover of managers. It might not sit well with everybody but its his club and in any dispute there is only going to be one winner. However you cannot dispute that the system does not work. Jim
