Ed a draw? ?. You are going to get slaughtered playing like that. Have you seen Salah, Mane and Firminiho recently ?? And that’s without even mentioning Hendo!!!

5th March 2018 at 10:01 pm in reply to: Week 29 footy (Including predictions- Ars v Man C Included) #17254Two bang average sides imho. Like a relegation battle with abysmal defending on both sides and one flukey goal making the difference. What on earth has Mouriniho done to Sanchez? Klopp must be licking his lips in anticipation of next weekend. ? lol

Nine, no offence but you are talking complete bollox saying stuff like if City continue to spend £100m per season more than Chelsea? Have you seen the age of our sqaud? Have you seen young Foden and Diaz etc. Bet you a nice box of chocolates we wont spend more than Chelsea this summer or next winter! Pep has overhauled the squad albeit at huge cost but he clearly doesnt need to do that again for a long time and you cannot argue that he hasn’t spent very wisely unlike others. Jim

5th March 2018 at 9:04 pm in reply to: Week 29 footy (Including predictions- Ars v Man C Included) #17248I don’t watch a lot of United, but for a change the game is on the box tonight. Trying to see the Pogba that the Ed has been talking about, but I dont think hes on the pitch? ? On a serious note, I think Gary Neville has said it all. He’s brutally honest isn’t he? like 99% of City fans I loathed him as a player but imo hes by far the best pundit on tv on all channels. Ps what on earth is going on with Sanchez? he has been crap aswell.

I didn’t realise he had been trying to cover it up. Why not just stop wearing it when a match is on and at press conferences. Much easier surely!??
Just found those emogies!?_____________________________

CM. Your Argument would have some weight if you had seen City’s last couple of games without Ferna. But clearly you haven’t otherwise you would realise his replacement Gundogwan was put under no pressure what so ever by either Arsenal or Chelsea. Hes a good player but does not have the speed and ability to break up play like Fernandinho. Fernadiniho is the one position that City do not have a good no. 2. Ask any City fan and I am pretty sure the majority will tell you he’s the player we potentially miss the most. Just a shame he’s not English. Henderson may have improved the last season or two but hes still the weak link in my opinion and clearly many Liverpool fans aswell including some on this forum. Cheers Jim.

PPT Winks Cork and Davies are all good shouts but sadly won’t get a look in with company yes man Southgate in charge. Also comparing Henderson and Fernandinho is frankly laughable or did I just miss a wind up moment?? Lalana offers much more than Henderson when it comes to reading the game and he isn’t great imho. If Klopp manages to buy a decent defensive midfielder and keeper Liverpool will be real challengers next season. Henderson isn’t good enough so let’s hope he stays. ? Jim

Good turn out by the Chelsea fans late on a Sunday afternoon. I would be well cheesed off coming all that way to witness a performance like that.

Well Willian didn’t look threatening just like the rest of their team. That was the least adventurous display I have seen from an opposing team this season. Hazzard was awful too. You expect a team outside the top six to play like that but not Chelsea.

Can’t disagree with that Spang and Adlab. Can afford to rest a few at Wednesday. At least Luiz is unlikely to play today. ?

Henderson is massively operated. Sadly for England he will be on the plane to Russia this summer just because he plays for Liverpool. If he was still at Sunderland where he should still be, no one would even be mentioning his name. There is a distinct lack of good English midfielders these days. With him and the truly bang average Wilshire being talked about. Oh for another Lampard or Gerrard.

Just watched the highlights again. Sane was bloody awesome and unplayable at times in that game. You can’t blame Arsenals defence really for any of the goals. City just ripped through it.

Ok Chucky, I have said my opinion on pep wearing the ribbon and sport in politics. Imo i dont think Pep is anymore than a hypocrite than 99% of the rest of us morally upstanding folk. But he is high profile and there to be shot at. You can support a good cause close to your heart and raise the profile of it. It doesn’t mean you don’t have sympathies with other issues. Plenty of us buy stuff from China who have equally appalling human rights issues. I don’t see many on here criticising that. Lol. Come on get your free Tibet ribbons out folks. Oh sorry thats different isnt it!!!

Whether you agree with him wearing the ribbon or not surely it’s not too difficult to understand why he does. It’s a cause very close to his heart. It’s what human beings do. I support cancer charities as the disease has badly affected my family. Because I show my support for that doesn’t mean i automatically have to also show support for other issues. Clearly people looking for issues and sticks to try and beat him with. Bit sad really. ?

Brian, in fairness to Wenger and Arsenal any side would have found it hard to defend against those goals. It was super slick fast football by City last night.

Surprised at Kompany starting. Shame sterling not on bench. Not sure on Gundog in middle, hes a bit slow for me.
Wheelchair not starting after Walker nailed on Sun.
