Precisely Alfie, there are no more actual facts in this report. So the question begs why release it when all it does is besmirch the reputation of our beat cyclist especially when it repeats no laws were broken. Moreover it strikes me that Wigins or team sky had no input or knowledge into this report or it’s findings until it was released. Unlike the ridiculous Chilcott report into the Iraq war which we were at best railroaded into as a country by Blair and co and resulted in tens of thousands of deaths. In producing that the politicians including Blair had a chance to comment on and even redact bits of the report before it was even released. And low and behold no one was accountable. I know which one I think was more important and was strangely had whitewash conclusions.

Well yes Ed that is true to a degree. But the point I was making was the errors that led to Smalling’s goal when the Palace defender didn’t step up with he colleagues was just silly. And when Lukaku got the ball he took an age to control it while four Palace defenders bunched together in front of him froze with not one bothering to try and close him down. It was commical stuff really. Hodgson must be doing his nut at those errors. But you can only beat what’s in front of you.

I Heard the interview and personally I don’t think he said anything antisemitic. The media and pc brigade are the ones jumping up and down. He didn’t compare the star of David with the Swastika he just mentioned both as symbols and reiterated that the FA has to draw the line somewhere. People are taking what he said out of context. I wouldn t apologise if I were him.

Really Chucky, I think if you look at the words of many players including Henry last week they have said the Pep made them better players. Sane and sterling both said similar. You can spend big money and still not be any better than the oposition arround you, there are plenty of examples of that in the current PL. Jim

Nine i think you will find if you look back it was your good self that put values on Hazard and Coutious first! Then when I questioned them you said it was pointless putting values on them as they are only worth what a club will pay. Lol. Anyway moving on I agree entirely with the last point. And if Real pay 300m for Hazard and Coutios then that’s a great deal for Chelsea. I would be very surprised that’s all. Then again who would have thought Dick was worth £75m but he is! Same goes for Sanchez!

Anyway it’s just my opinion in the debate.
Ps I’m not just judging hazard on one game, we’ve had this conversation before. Imo he simply isn’t consistent enough to be considered top class. Sounds like I am not alone in that opinion. Cheers Jim

My thoughts precisely Chucky. Hazard for me is Coutiniho money but even then he isn’t as consistent as Coutiniho. Courtois is harder to define value wise as it depends more on who wants a quality keeper. And not many will spend 50m plus on a keeper.

Nope nine, I stand by my comment. Also its a debateable point I know but I doubt whether you will get anywhere near 200m let alone 300m for hazard and courtois. Simply because neither are anywhere near as good as you think they are im affraid. Weve had this conversation before and Hazard just isnt consistent enough to be classed as a world beater. Far too many average games. Even Sunday despite the system he was played in he could have done alot more, but instead chose to sit on his backside and complain rather then drop deep and get involved in the game. Jim

Can’t disagree with that Ed. But I would say I am surprised at how slapstick United’s defence looked. Lots of space for Palace when they did attack in the 2nd half. Mouriniho needs to somehow sort that out before the weekend as Liverpool are formidable going forward. Finally what on earth has Mouriniho done to Sanchez he was truly awful tonight?
