Morning Hightown and all. Have to agree with what most have said in response. The problem is we seem to struggle to attract good referees into the game let alone fit ones. I don’t see why more ex players or players and women arnt given a go or are they trying and they are not getting a chance. Moss was clearly unfit last weekend. Would Love to know if the referee inspector or whatever they are called reported that. The other issue I have is that the PGMOL that regulates refs seems such a secretive organisation that is seemingly beyond any criticism.

I didn’t agree with Mouriniho getting charged a couple of weeks ago. How can you offend anyone when no one knows what you said because you said it in a foreign language and under a whisper. That it takes days for the FA to get a lip reader in lol. I don’t think anybody should be charged for a bit of handbags yesterday. Chelsea apologised so it should an left there. If the FA and the PL want to do something, bring in VAR. After the WC the PL is a step backwards.

Morning Ed, I saw the incident on MOTD, your vid has been removed. It seemed like the Chelsea assistant must have said something to me as he came back past Mouriniho. Perhaps the FA need to get their expert lip readers out again?
Couldn’t really see the Kompany tackle during the game yesterday as we sit the other end. But he was very lucky to stay on the pitch.
Not sure the whole ball was out of play for the second City Goal as MOTD deliberately showed the wrong angle when discussing it. But hey ho We had some luck for a change. Normally those things go against us. What comes arround goes arround.
Danny Murphy must be the most biased agenda driven pundit on MOTD, he is truly awful, I don’t know why he just doesn’t sit there in his Liverpool strip!?

Ed, I didn’t sugest Benetez should manage United. I said I thought he could get more out of the players you have than Mouriniho. Slight difference? The main stat I questioned was not having a shot on target, you can belittle that stat all you want but for me it tells a story does it not? The 36% just showed that in the first half Mouriniho had you set up to sit back im guessing? unless your telling me you were surging forward and losing the ball alot? Anyway I’m getting bored of this. Have a good evening. Sit back and enjoy MOTD and watch Dyche blame everybody else for his players not playing to the whistle and City scoring a goal. Very funny.

Ed, in answer to your point. I don’t know who you should get in. But I do not think Mouriniho is getting the most out of your team. Do you? I would however suggest that Benitez could get more out out this United side than Mourniho is.

Jeez ed that was my main point. This United side is a poor imitation of Fergussons United sides. Yet it was you that chose to pull me up on my post. I just used the fact that you went to bridge and didn’t have a single shot on target in the first half as a example of why your side is a shadow of Fergussons sides!

Its called Stats Mav, no shots on target, 1 shot off target in first half ,and 36% pocession. Early KO, I just looked at the score and at HT on BBC website. But like you and the ed say I shouldn’t really comment. Clearly those stats mean nowt and and i bow to yours and the eds knowledge this United side is right up there with Ferguson’s great PL sides ?

Ed,I still think it’s a bit of an odd comparison to justify why United sit back and have 37% pocession with no shots on goal in the first half which is when I made my post. Liverpool and City are both very attacking, I just think United under Mouriniho are not like that, but I freely admit I don’t watch many United games but I do stand by my statement. This United side is a poor shadow of the United sides under Fergusson that dominated the premiership. I am amazed you think otherwise to be honest. No one has any fear going to Old Trafford these days.
Anyway, City did a good job today. Nothing spectacular, Mahrez I thought was wasteful in the first half, but much better in the 2nd when in came in from the wing. He he so left footed it’s ridiculous, luckily that foot is a special. Lovely to seem KDB back. Resting Sterling was a good idea, with the games we have coming up. Foden got a few more minutes and had some lovely touches.

Ed, point taken. But are you comparing Mourinihos style of football with that of Liverpool and City. The Anfield game was the exception. It’s more like the rule under a Mouriniho United. Park the bus and hit teams on the break.

United start with Pogba, Martial, Rashford, Mata and Lukaku and they haven’t managed a shot on target in the first half. This is a poor shadow of the sides that dominated the PL under Fergusson. Or is it Mouriniho? Bizarre as on paper they look much better than they play.
