Nine, he hasn’t got a point at all. I am sure United spent loads more the last two seasons than Liverpool and they didn’t exactly challenge for the title did they. Just wish those in charge would for once put the fans first and particularly the match going fans, rather than thinking about lining their own pockets and making clubs and players richer. Aside from the cap for away games at £30 50% more than the campaign of twenty is plenty by the way. When was the last time anything was done for the benefit of match going fans. The twats in charge of the FA the PL and UEFA need sacking as they clearly couldn’t give a shit and are so detached from the reality of a typical match going fan on an average wage.

I didn’t blame anybody you did nine! I just corrected you. I wasn’t talking about player inflation you were. But while you on about it just remind me which club has broken the British transfer record more than any other. It ain’t Chelsea and it ain’t City and that record has been broken many times before our clubs came into money. Ps I couldn’t care less about UEFA or FIFa both are run by a bunch of incompetent fools at best and gangsters at worst. You can of course choose to nail your colours to whatever last you like, I am a bit more choosy.

9 firstly your statement was plain wrong. lukaka and Pogba and Dick Van dike cost more than Mahrez in transfer fees. The statement and my response was nothing to do with who has spent more so stop changing topic. Secondly I suggest you do a straw pol amoungst your mates and see who is in favour of Fifa and UEFA and they way they govern the sport. You might be surprised. I agree with Adlab the PL needs to make sure that more of this money gets through to the match going fans. Something they seem incapable of understanding the importance of. Put a cap on home ticket prices and the ridiculous prices clubs charge for the shit food and drink served by incompetent people.

The area where I think we would struggle is with a holding midfield if God forbid Fernandiniho got injured. I don’t think we have any real back up there. Such an important position. Attacking wise we have more options than last season with Mahrez and also Mendy who can and does ping great first time balls into the box and who will be like a new signing.

Sean, no one knows what will happen this coming season. I doubt City will run away with it again, but I also happen to think we will be a bit stronger as the team gels better. Liverpool will be right up there along with Chelsea who always bounce back after a poor season. If I were a United fan i would be worried. The WC showed how Lukaku and Pogba can play. The question is can Mouriniho get them to do that at United? The evidence of last season indicates that he can’t. He hasn’t moved with the times imo. Interesting to see how Arsenal fair with a new manager tbh their squad is pretty poor months will have to buy a few quality players.
