However the match was OK for a first game and both teams put in plenty of effort. Liverpool were definitely ahead due to their earlier preseason. This morning the press have decided that Nunez is better than Haaland. After one warmup game???
I remember last season’s opener v Spurs. We lost 1-0 with half the team unavailable. That was it said the press. Liverpool will win the title easily they said!

Liverpool are better so far. Our lack of games shows a bit Haaland looks dangerous when in on goal.

Can anybody explain why City and Liverpool fans have to endure a difficult cross country trip to Leicester notwithstanding no trains.
Why is the game not at Goodison or Old Trafford then only one set of fans have to travel and not that far. Or is that too simplistic. We knew the teams two months ago

This is very interesting. I think we have a cultural and generational issue. The point raised about social media is entirely correct. When you see the abuse black players get on Twitter etc it is a disgrace. Those morons would never say such things to their faces.
Also players from all teams should stop all these “messages ” to other teams. None of it helps.
Players should express themselves on the pitch and leave behaviour there. Too much Twitter etc is no good.
Whilst we are on behaviour, something needs to be done about cheating and diving. Some pundits call this professional..no its cheating. Professional is when you don’t cheat.
