I’ve mixed views about Fofana. Seen good and bad games but £70m? I’m not sure but we’ll have to wait and see.
As with so many players it’s how they fit in to the way of playing.
But £70m even by today’s prices.
One player we have signed to watch is Alvarez. What I’ve seen of him I think he will be very useful in the Aguero mold. Again we’ll have to see but with Pep coaching I am hoping for good things._____________________________

Goal for United. Not a very inspiring game. Both teams struggle to create but United look the more likely Southampton don’t have that little extra that is needed. It will be two wins on the bounce and with Omnia Nicosea to come…wow

I think you are right. I have noticed a slight change in style for us this season with Haaland there and the fullbacks moving much more inside providing more bulk in attacking midfield.

Agreed. Just looked at it from a different angle. Nowhere near any contact. I wonder whether a draw was deemed the best outcome in a charity match or is that too much of a conspiracy theory. Perhaps someone said fall over and we’ll get a pen? Bit like being at ……

Definitely no penalty. I think he brushed the defenders knee and fell over. Anyhow who cares. 91000 crowd raised a huge amount for a worthy charity, plus a good run out for the squad.

I agree with Brian. You were not as bad as made out on Sunday but the midfield and TAA defending was below the level you would expect.

We do shop at Waitrose. But it’s blooming expensive compared with Aldi. Ad an aside we do in fact do the majority of our shopping at Aldi but pre pandemic it was at Waitrose.

Liverpool have Bournemouth, United at Southampton, Spurs at Nottingham Forest, Chelsea at home to Leicester. None of these are easy predictions.

One game…… there are 35 to go. It will all change again at the weekend.
Liverpool will improve and normal service will be resumed.
We drew at Newcastle and according to some media reports on Monday we had all sorts of problems.
