The previous post is a copy of an article Chucky not my words.
This is why nothing is always as it seems.
This can just run its course in my view guilty or otherwise.

But I have little faith in the objectivity of the EPL

The legal proceedings – which are likely to be drawn out over several months – will be overseen by Murray Rosen KC, the head of the Premier League’s Judicial Panel, who himself is an avid Arsenal fan and club member.

As head of the panel, it will be up to Rosen to decide who will join him on the commission that will ultimately decide whether Manchester City are guilty of any wrongdoing and in turn, attribute any retrospective punishment to the club.

By the way, the media are helping assuming City are guilty. These are at this stage allegations. Should they not be found Collymore, Jordan, Piers Morgan et al could find themselves facing law suits for slander and liable. Always be careful what you say!!

Chuck. Truthfully of course I haven’t seen them but from experience any written evidence has to be looked at in contexts. No one letter or email can be sufficient particularly if it was not sent by a responsible official.
I have looked again at the allegations in contexts of EPL rules. My gut feeling is that we have not done everything as openly as it should and there maybe a case but not major. To apply retrospection is notoriously difficult and remember this is not a legal action. I also think the EPL rules are open to scrutiny.

Chaps believe me from experience the law is very complex which is why the EPL have looked to use an Independent Commission.
But who decides on the make up? All very complicated.
I spent 3 years dealing with a question of whether accouts were true and Fair and in the end we lost. It isn’t easy

I hope City answer all the allegations openly.
If you look at what is alleged it seems to me that most of it concerns not providing information.
They also question ” True and Fair View “in the accounts (which have no audit qualification. )
That is a statutory term meaning relevant and objective which auditors have to assess and always difficult to question. That means involving firms of accountants.
From my experience as Chartered Accountant these cases if there is one take years.
So by the time this gets sorted with top KCs etc it could be months or years.
Optimistic guess. Sorry Simon(failure) Jordan fine + warning but City’s accounts now are very healthy

Doesn’t look very good. Most of these so called charges are relatively minor.
I think this will be a long drawn our legal battle.
But just us? I think not.
We will see what happens. If this is followed up as it looks like then other clubs finances will have to be scrutinised, City will make sure of that. But time will tell.

If KDB is fit he has to come on. Having said that apart from an awful mistake our tactics have worked quite well but we just can’t seem to get a goal here.
