Until Salah went off Liverpool were more than in it. Without him they looked a bit lost. I think the psychology of losing him had the greatest impact.
Liverpool fans should place this defeat firmly at Klopps door. Any football fan could see a keeper weakness BEFORE the season started. We had a problem and replaced Bravo.

I know you wont like me saying this but I think Liverpool used up their good fortune against City and Roma and had terrible luck last night. I felt for the fans who had made the long trip to Kiev to lose in that way. Cant imagine how bad they felt!

This season is over. City were way the best team.
But now it starts again.
Arsenal may improve. Looks like Unal Emery as head coach, not Arteta.

Liverpool will be better. Chelsea – dont know. Spurs similar.
Utd ? Will spend but they will have to have the courage to get rid of a few. Eg Valencia, Darmian, Shaw, Jones, Martial(probably), Young to name but a few.

City? Perhaps two signings

Liverpool are in the final. Yes they have had some ify decisions but it happens all the time to all teams. The standards of officials home and abroad is just about the worst it has ever been. Pool fans will have to hope they havent used up all the good fortune. But life and football is like that. If we all knew what was going to happen we wouldnt be on here! Its just everything crossed!

The media’s defence is always that they are just tbe messenger and report the news.
There is not much I like about Donald Trump (apart from his Missus) but one thing he is right on is fake news. Printing inuendo or heresay as fact. Even today Pep is talking about fake news in respect of Stones.
Trouble is that anything the tabloids print you look at with major scepticism.

Gerrard would want this as a stepping stone back to Liverpool. He is English and we dont have many English managers at the top.
My only doubt is whether he has the personality. I only know what I see on TV.

Chelsea owe Abramovic a fortune. Its debt not equity.
I was referring you to the latest accounts. But even looking at £39m profits what would that buy. Lets for a moment ignore the current losses.
Players purchased are amortised over the period of their contract.
Imagine a player is bought for £100m net of residual value and signs a 5 year contract. That means a charge each year of £20m. Given Utds profit and the devaluation of sterling making interest on debt more expensive, loans are in dollars, £100m spend is really the maximum. That means it is difficult to spend much more without an i rease in turnover which is of course possible.
The point I am trying to make is that spend is not limitless. There is also FFP!!
