Watched a terrific game. Spain v Morroco. If ever the value of VAR is shown there it is. Sorry for Morroco but VAR got tbe correct decision. Otherwise the goal would have been wrongly disallowed. Shame but a correct result.
Sterling? As I said before the media havent forgiven him leaving Liverpool to progress win things and get more money. Wouldnt everbody? If Kane wasnt given a new contract and somebody like Real or Barca said come here and we will double your money what would he do. Thats the media agenda against Sterling.

Reflecting on the two games. Best world cup start I can remember. Not just the results but the performance. Yes against mediocre teams. Many positives. My only reservation is whether we have the midfield creativity to play against better teams.

Having just come back from a cruise of the Greek Islands(really good), if you think us few on here dont like the Germans you should listen to the Greeks. They are quite open about it from the second world war to the Euro!
Will we beat Panama? Hopefully. That makes the Belgium match, if we do, less important. I dont think it matters that much whether we come first or second. There are no bad teams. Some are just better than others.

Maverick. We dont often agree but 100% when it comes to those horrors. They were responsible and in living memory for more than 20 million deaths. Instead of saying how wonderful spit on the ground. Hightown. Agree entirely. I wouldnt make many changes. Rose for Young. Young is a good crosser but too slow for this system. I would be tempted to play a front three of Sterling Kane and Rashford with Sterling a little deeper. We probably dont need three at the back either. I just think of the way City and Liverpool play. Possession and pace.

I think overall it was a good start. Alli should have been replaced at half time is my only criticism. He was clearly injured. Changes? Possibly. Nothing dramatic though. Might even start with the same eleven subject to Alli.

I think Liverpool fans, now the disappointment has died down, should be asking questions about Klopps transfer policy. Why did he not sign a decent keepet? Pep got stick from tbe fans over Bravo. We got a better keeper. The club received a huge fee from the sale of Coutino. Why not get a keeper? Is it the owners? Is it Klopp?
