Even the Newcastle manager thinks its not right that we have to play Saturday night. The only team to play midweek.
Apparently little sleep Wednesday, no training Thursday and gentle warm ups Friday. Newcastle have a full week to train.
Why do we not play Monday. The EPL have been aware of the Athens match for weeks. I wonder why? Never mind injuries to KDB, Stones Bernardo Dias. Plus losing Gundogan and Mahrez makes us much weaker at this point.

What about all Chelsea success financed by dirty Russian money? Why do you never mention that?
Why not wait until the outcome of the EPL so called independent review?
Some of the so called charges are at the level of not submitting a tax return on time or filling in a box on a form. Some are allegedly more serious but as with UEFA let’s wait and see.
You should look at the detailed charges. Some are so trivial that if one was objective you would just shrug your shoulders. The equivalent of you or me not paying a parking ticket on time.
Do have a look with an open mind and if possible wonder about the agenda.
Just my view. Of course I am biased. Equally I’m sure some so called FFP rules were circumvented.
I spent the whole of my working life helping companies and individuals legally circumventing UK tax legislation. Not great morally I accept. But thereby hangs a tail.😇_____________________________

Friend of mine lives in Stutgart and indeed used to play for their U21 team.
He reckons that given Liverpool team and style he could be a great signing. Runs around a lot, just the Liverpool style. Could be a good one._____________________________

Yep
Happy with the trophy but much happier that we were able to score penalties.
Still think it was a glorified friendly bit like the Community Shield although not sure Sevilla players thought so.
Missed KDB and Bernardo. Clearly we have to play without KDB for much of the season.
Hopefully Dias, Stones and Bernardo will be back for Saturday.
Incidentally why do we play Saturday rather than Sunday or Monday. There we are representing the EPL in boiling Athens. Why not a couple of days rest for the players or they want us to have to play 🤔 😴_____________________________

Incredible that we are losing. One attack but that’s the way it goes.
Playing okish considering no KDB, Bernardo, Dias (bench) and lost Gundogan and Mahrez.
Pretty clear we need to replace Mahrez and KDB.
We are not as strong as last year that’s for sure.
