Dont know what to say?
Two not very good teams perhaps. Utd will win this as Soton are so bad. Utd look just a bit better.
Filling your side with 6 footers and lobbing the ball towards them wont beat good teams but will beat poor teams like Soton.
Hughes looks like he has no answers_____________________________

City 1-1 at HT.
We never look quite so assured without the usual suspects – Walker, Stones, Mendy, Silva, Aguero and of course KDB. But this is the way it is. Playing in the CL midweek and an important game makes the weekend EPL game that much harder.
It is why you need a big squad and we have that.
Wouldnt be surprised if Bournemouth get a result today. They have looked dangerous when they have come forward._____________________________

Dont think we will be signing anybody unless we can get a top class Fernandino type.
Unlikely in this window. Probably wait til summer,
Utd above all need some creative midfield. Also they need to think about Jones, Smalling, Young and Valencia. I, of course, hope they keep them. Especially Jones!_____________________________

I lost £10 on a Spurs, Liverpool double!
Liverpool midfield – too much rush and not enough creativity. Still a big improvement on last season._____________________________

Was it a penalty? Not sure but understand why it was given. Mane!!!, He does go over but nothing compared to Neymar. Bet is still alive!

I think Liverpool can win tonight. Also Spurs.
Lets hope so. The more British teams the better._____________________________

PS
Alfie one of the most famous HMRC cases was in respect of image rights paid by Utd to a company set up in the IOM to “employ” Wayne Rooney. Ditto with Gareth Barry. Perfectly legal but highly questionable. The upshot wax that they paid 2% tax on this.
Looking at Wayne Rooney…..image rights…no Brad Pitt!_____________________________

Nine I totally agree. Wage levels are stupid but understanable. Anybody with any basic understanding of economics will understand. What workers get paid in a free market is determined primarily on revenues and profits of the firm that employs them. Generally other parts of the wage theory is that if you raise the salary of the last employee you will have to raise it for all.
Also if you try to interfear in the market that market becomes disfunctioal. ….FFP etc.Bottom line ITS OUR FAULT. We subscribe to Sky and BT as do those from overseas. I take the point that all this is a statement of the obvious hence there is no point us moaning except on moral grounds.
One of the oldest basic essay questions used to be why does a pop star get paid more than a brain surgeon or why does x in a vital job get paid less than y in a non vital job. In the end its about revenues added to the firm. There are also some non monetary aspects._____________________________

Against Lyon we are lucky to be still 0-0. They could easily be 3 up!

It is often the case that items are paid via a holding company. Same as Utd do. Its quite normal and I would assume its all taken into account. In our company certain bonuses were paid via the holding company to avoid busybodies!!
But as we have said a lot of inuendo and no facts. Bit like Brexit!_____________________________

Thats not so. Merely that when one quotes £26m a year, an outrageous sum, it is not some figure plucked from nowhere. Nothing more or less. Yes at the time I thought he should have signed for us ditto Jorgino. Both had given their word. Perhaps I am too old fashioned? Their loss. History. Good luck to them on mega bucks._____________________________
