I think if the technology is properly in place and tested we have to accept it. The picture of tbe ball and the line is just a pictorial representation of the camera findings. Obviously it is not the actual ball and line.
If the system says it is not over the line AND it has been calibrated correctly and tested so be it. Even if it can calculate 1mm is not over AND that is correct then it is not a goal.
We all want the correct decision.
That would have been given without the technology and, as it turns out it would have been wrong!

Ok player but not top class. One of the reasons England not quite good enough. He ought not to be close to the national side. Who is good is that Robertson guy. I know he is a fullback.

Hightown. I hate that abuse effect but it happens at all grounds. Years ago I used to go to Old Trafford with somebody’s season ticket just to watch the game. I got all sorts of abuse no cheering for a Utd goal. I just sat there not supporting the oppo. But different in 60s and 70s.

Hopefully objective comment. Nothing in it last night. We were badly short at LB. Laporte is not a LB. Liverpool short of midfield creativity. Too many long balls a little predictable. Kompany and Lovren a little lucky but I thought the referee did well considering the game.
The two best teams in the league no doubt. It is still Liverpool’s to lose. Four points isnt much but all Liverpool have to do is match City’s results.
I thought Trent-Alexander had a difficult time but kept at it well. Laporte similar. We have the relief of the cup this week!
Sean no hard feelings either. This is still the best site but we are all tribal!
