Schalke were poor once we had scored. VAR used four times. We scored 7 and without return without Otemendi,Kompany,Mendy, Stones,(just about most of the defence) KDB, Mahrez(unused sub) so I suspect Pep is pleased!

Hope Liverpool can make it 4 out of 4 tonight. It looks certain that English teams will play each other in the next round.

Lots of ifs and buts. One decision could be vital. A penalty that isnt to win three points. A sending off, an injury etc.
If the above even out over the remaining games then each team have to try to win every game.

Our problem may be too many games. FA CUP? CL.? Liverpool may be out of the CL this week and no FA cup.

Liverpool problem is the possibility of tension and manager tactics. (You cant always bomb forward) Should be a close run thing.

I still wonder who would Utd rather win. Liverpool or City?

This weeks debate has been really good and unbiased. Makes interesting reading.
Plenty of stats above. But dont forget….”lies damned lies and statistics”. I still think there will be a number of strange results before the end. From our perspective we simply have to win 8 games!!! Easier said than done. With our full team, maybe…but with no Mendy, Fernandinho, KDB Laporte…I dont know.

My concern is the “handball”. Kick the ball against the defenders arm and shout VAR. Thats my main worry.
